This post is by no means meant to fuel the immature arguing about GOATs and the like. However, as we can see statistically, Nadal is right on target (assuming his body and mind hold up) to pottentially match Roger Federer's achievements!:

By the Numbers: Nadal vs. Federer

Rafael Nadal completed the career Grand Slam Monday, adding the 2010 US Open championship to his five titles at the French Open, two at Wimbledon and one at the Australian Open.

He is more than two-and-a-half years younger than Roger Federer was when the Swiss accomplished the Slam sweep at the 2009 French Open.

As of Sept. 13, Nadal is 24 years, three months and 10 days old. Federer was the same exact age on Nov. 18, 2005.

While tennis media and fans debate about the greatest player of all time, Nadal is ahead of Federer's pace in several key categories.

Federer vs. Nadal at the Very Same Age

----------------------Nadal on 9/13/10 Federer on 11/18/05
Overall Record -----460-98 ----------------390-119
Winning Pct. -----.824 -----------------.766
Titles --------------------42 ----------------33
Major Titles------------- 9 -----------------6
Majors Played -------26 ----------------27
Davis Cup Titles----------3 -----------------0
Olympic Gold Medals-----1 -----------------0
Longest Win Streak------32 -----------------34
Rank------------------ 1 -----------------1
Weeks at No. 1------ 60 -----------------93
Record vs. No. 1------ 14-6 ----------------2-3

You should include some stats like YEC titles to make the comparison more fair. Also the overall record and winning percentage are two sides of the same coin, you shold leave out one of them. I can see your point though, it's true that Nadal is ahead if we compare their achievements at the same age but Federer won almost everything from that day on, so it's gonna take a great effort from Nadal to keep ahead on these kind of comparisons.

There you have it, Nadal is GOAT per age.

We will put restrictions on age comparison.LOL

The original post is from the US Open site...

I think it shows a couple of very understandable things.
1) Rafael has been very dominant
2) Federer has been very dominant

What it doesn't show is the "ramp up" that Federer had for the couple years after '05, and.....

Stopping time at the same age - Nadal is professional for two more years than Federer. I think that comes into play somehow....
