Agreed, I am definitely enjoying witnessing possibly the greatest clay court player of all time. But, like all other players in his mold, I see him burning out.

Federer has a better chance to beat Nadal in the French Open final then Nadal does Federer in the U.S Open final on its lightning fast courts by far. .

I do agree with your prediction but the hard courts at the open are anything but "lightning fast". They have been significantly slowed down.
