Sometimes i think Nadal might not be greater than Peterson too. I mean, you take all his RGs and he has less slams than Agassi. Plus, Murray is better than him on grass, and Murray is not even an ATG.

Well on paper Federer looks better but when we look at their meetings in slams Nadal clearly dominates...

It is a battle between overall achievements and direct h2h in my opinion...

Like Federer had greater and more decorated career while Nadal was a better player.

2021 was horrible year for Nadal and his goat ambitions. He was already in the Goat race just and only just because of one tournament alone, that's the French Open of course, and losing to a fellow Goat race rival, on your home turf was very bad indeed. No wonder he is considered to be a third wheel at the moment. Let's see what happens next year. 2022 RG will be make or break tournament for Nadal again, for sure. ;)

Next year will be the final showdown between him and Djokovic for goat claims...After that retirement is a logical step...

Yep, if he fails to win the FO title next year, he'll be completely done, maybe even retires at the end of 2022. He said this summer himself that he will play until he has hopes of doing important tings, winning important titles. So if he doesn't win 2022 RG, yes retirement is totally on the cards for Nadal, imo.

I would like him to get his 21 somewhere before he retires...It would be a good end to his brilliant career...

But I thought only Djoko plays for titles and stats. The rest play for the love of the game.

you really should look up the meaning of 'fact'.
Fact is a thing that is known or proved to be true.

Now lets look what have we proved here...

Superior:
1. Weeks at number 1
2. Year end number 1
3. Double career grand slam
4. Nole slam
5.Peak elo rating
6.Most points won in a single season
7. Double golden masters.
8. More overall big titles.
9.Crushed Federer at his pet slam
10. Crushed Nadal at his pet slam
11. Better h2h with both Federer and Nadal.
12. Arguably the strongest individual seasons (2011,2016)

Now lets see what have you done to disprove my argument:

1.Nothing
2.Nothing again.
3.Check 1. and 2.

Even.

Federer was more consistent on all surfaces, while Nadal dealt better with great opponents.

Djokovic has both, that's why he's the best.
Really? Is that why only Fed could beat Djokovic in 2011 and not Nadal? Or is that why Nadal has yet to win a set against Djokovic on a HC in the last 8 years and hasn't beaten his biggest rivals off clay in almost 8 years?

And no, Fed wasn't just more consistent, he was outright more dominant than Nadal overall.

That's why Nadal is on the 3rd place when it comes to wins vs top/10/5 at AO, Wimbledon and the USO ? Or Fed being first in winning percentage vs top 5/10 at Wimbledon and the USO ? You better take a look on the stats again, given that you post them in your own threads :D :D

These classic TTW myths need to disappear. This ain't 2013 anymore :D

Focus on the Fed vs Djokovic poll

Polls vs Nadal are a foregone conclusion, he is not in contention for GOAT (Not unless he can subdue a 4th gen on clay by wining 4 more slams there, less likely)

Both Federer and Djokovic are ahead of Nadal
