The knee is better. Wimbledon was and will remain Nadal's 2nd best Grand Slam after French Open.
2014 is the return of the prodigal son on grass.

You should have learnt your lesson of not getting too ahead of our selfs only time will tell! DONT TRY TO JINX:evil:
Yeah right, because this is such a jinx thread, huh....
Sensationally smart observation,,,,,,...dotdot.

Nadal got the CYGS in the bag for 2014. Bank on it!
I don't believe tennis fans on internet forums control the destiny of tennis players. I don't think you and I can jinx anyone.
I have a strong feeling that Nadal will go for the Wimbledon this year.
I predict Nadal will win at least 50% more sets at 2014 Wimbledon compared to 2013 Wimbledon. I know that's an impressive improvement but if anyone can do it is Nadal.
oh golly gosh, slap my thigh and call me blodwin.
i was about to start a "rafa will win Wimbledon" thread..but you beat me to it.
Max I will give him best of 16 round. Then he is out.
Backspin has spoken. It will happen.

3rd Round!
I am sure Rafa will do it this time.
2012 W 2R: L. Rosol d. R. Nadal - 6–7(9), 6–4, 6–4, 2–6, 6–4
2013 W 1R: S. Darcis d. R. Nadal - 7-6(4), 7-6(8), 6-4
The trend doesn't look particularly good.
I know. In 2012 he just got Rosoled! No excuse. Rosol was just too good for him.
In 2013 he just wasn't ready physically for grass. This was the worst Rafa I've seen in a match.
From 2006 to 2011 this guy played 5 Wimbledon finals. You don't get to play 5 finals and 2 titles if you're not very good on the surface.

He's fitter now than he was in mid 2013. His movement's much better. I'm sure he's good enough to survive the first week. In the 2nd week, the courts will suit his game.
You really believe Rafa is going to win Wimbledon hahah theres no certainty that he make it past round 3:-|
Rafa should play queens adapt to the surface before he gets knocked out early again!
So, green clay buddy?

I know. I like Queens better. It is more prestigious than the 2nd rate Halle.

I agree Imagine Rafa opts into playing Halle and faces Fed and beats him fed would hold zero titles!
If I created this thread after say Rafa wins Queens beating Murray in the final, where's the fun, eh? No one expects him to win Wimbledon again after what happened in last 2 years. But if you followed his career, you'd know he still can.
Fed will always have Basel, ohhhh wait
Seriously now, Federer will always be one of the favorites for Wimbledon.
Am I the only who thinks there should be 2 Grass masters? And deduct 2 HC masters?
4 HC
3 clay
2 grass
seems great.
I know you're kidding. Fed will win at least 1 Masters 1000 this year, Indian Wells, Madrid or Cincinnati.

I think most of us fans would like that to happen. Unfortunately, it won't. Grass courts are very expensive to maintain compare to hard courts and even clay.
No, any other Master apart from Cincinnati for the reasons you obviously know

It's more complicated than that buddy. There are so many politics involve on that one. It may not happen on our lifetime.
Naturally, this would be far more balanced.
That means hopefully another 70 years!:shock:

He's gotta get past the 1st and 2nd round then he can think about the title.
