Nadal will win Wimbledon 2017

Rafael Nadal is on fire and no one can stop him. After winning the French Open he will set his sights on the prestigious grass of Wimbledon. He will beat he likes of Kyrgios, Murray, Raonic, and finally: Federer on grass and cement himself as the #1 player of all time.

I always find these types of threads to be a bit weak tbh. There's low risk (and high reward) associated with sticking your neck out with this prediction because Nadal is unlikely to win it but you never really know. If he does win it OP looks like a genius, but if he doesn't it's no big deal because he was "supposed" to lose anyway.

You might even call it cowardly.

But it's obvious to anyone who follows tennis that Nadal is in his prime right now. He is by far the favorite for Wimbledon.

Agreed, and you are being too mild in your critique. What has happened in recent years and decades is the shortening of humankind's attention span, mainly due to too many distractions from ever greater volumes of (mis)information. This has all accelerated immensely with the advent of the internet and even more so with social media. The result has been more and more people who will make grandiose promises or predictions, spin hyperbole or cry wolf, etc. because no one will every remember their empty promises or,quite frankly, lies.

To whom belong the faces in your avatar? I think the left one is Gasquet? But can't put a name on the right one.

Nadal is the greatest player ever. He only loses when he wants to.
He is so great that sometimes he can't lose even en he tries to.
Those are the times Providence injures him and he is forced to lose.
That's why the half truth - nadsyBoyito only looses when injured.

Full truth is:
Injury only looses when Nadalled

Cowardly trolling should be the term, my friend. The OP is on a roll...............:D

Nadal is going for the 'Nadal Slam' combined with DCGS starting with the FO La Decima.

Book it. The writing is on the wall because of the 2 La Decima's he completed.

It may sound like a troll because some people don't believe a superhuman like Nadal can exist but trust me he is real and he is ready to win Wimbledon. Captain America was based on Nadal but they changed his nationality to American and profession to soldier to appeal to a larger audience. They also changed his backstory from hard work on the clay to a super drug because they thought it wouldn't be believable for someone to become strong like Nadal through hard work.

Just a "bit weak?"

How about massively weak?

1. "Rafael Nadal is on fire and no one can stop him."

Thiem just beat him yesterday.

2. "After winning the French Open he will set his sights on the prestigious grass of Wimbledon."

What makes you so sure? Oftentimes he sits out the entire season after Wimbledon.

3. "He will beat he likes of Kyrgios, Murray, Raonic..."

But he hasn't made it past the third round in 5 years.

4. "and he'll beat Federer on grass"

He hasn't beaten Fed in 3.5 years and has lost to him three times in 2017 already.

5. ..."and cement himself as the #1 player of all time."

He's suddenly GOAT with 15 majors when someone else has 18?
