Really? With the way Djokovic played in that final? I know 2015 Federer is not 2008 Nadal but still.
No, I'd actually agree. Djokovic 2015 was on fire but Nadal 2008 would've outlasted him.
Now neither 2015ovic nor 2008dal would've been close to beating 2011ovic tho

Disagree about 2011 Djokovic at Wimbledon. He was good but not his highest level. Got destroyed in set 3 and was not super in set 4 as well IMO. The 2015 final was Djokovic at his best IMO.

24 votes for 2010
1 vote for 2011

and the difference is... just... Djokovic  :censored:
I think 2010 got too many votes and more than I expected. We can only speculate how 10 Nadal does vs 11 Djokovic but I think people are thinking along the lines that he has a better chance which might by why 10 got more votes.

Almost as sad as a GOAT candidate having a winning record against his soon-to-be replacement at one out of 3 slams they've contested. I mean don't you find it embarassing that Fed barely beat Nadal this year at his pet slam whereas Nadal has whipped Fed over and over and over and over and over and over and over again at his?
Yet more double standards, so Fed beating Nadal in 4 sets this year is "barely beating", yet Nadal beating Federer in 4 sets 4/6 times they've met at the FO is "whipping over and over and over and over and over and over and over again"...

LOL! As if you don't know that Fedfans the world over were having minor heart attacks throughout the whole match, as though you weren't one of them. Whereas with Nadal outside of 2005 SF, every match was a foregone conclusion.

I'm obviously no match for your powers of hindsight.

Edit: The irony of a PETE fan mocking Federer's exploits on clay is also not lost on me btw lol.

Is this a serious question? How can 2018 and 2011 be even comparable to 2010 when he won the title?

He did have it tougher in the latter 2 TBH. Del Potro and Djokovic B2B and Del Potro,Murray,Djokovic in 2011.
Now, if we talk about his level or level of his opposition - that's relative and debatable. But the OP's question doesn't specify it. The ultimate judgment of a player's success is always a result.

If it’s only about results not meaning to shift goalposts but would you say Federer was better in AO17 or Wimbeldon 2017 than he was in AO 2005,Wimbledon 2008 and AO 2009 because he won in the former and not the latter?
I agree 2010 had the highest level but I am torn with 2018 as well because the SF with Djokovic was amazing as well.

Well, if you ask me about the level of play I think 2018 was better compared to 2011. Especially the SF vs Djokovic was absolutely amazing stuff. While 2011 match vs Djokovic was probably the worst slam final Rafa has ever played (not counting AO 2014).

And obviously AO 2019 was worse as well as AO 14 as you mentioned. Agree with the rest.

2019 getting more votes than 2011 is also something else though. Falling meekly to ancient Fedr in the last two sets until a too-little-too-late desperate fight at the end. 2010 > 2011/18 > 2019 clearly. 2011 vs 2018 not clear, 2018 looks better but the mental difference based on previous matches plays a role: in 2011, Djokovic was the dominator and had pwned Nadal 4 times already, while in 2018, he was just gearing into his comeback having lost his last two matches to Rafi (last win in Rome '16).

For me there's a very clear dip for Fed after 12 and ditto for Nadal after 13-14 movement wise that neither has gotten back, which make it tough for me to take any of the post versions over the pre versions unless it's special cases like parts of 2010 for Fed when he just couldn't find the court and his movement was sluggish or injured periods for Nadal.

The irony of you shifting goalposts from Fed's failures on clay to PETE is not lost on me either lol

Nadal was better in 2010 probably but the W18 semi was probably a one off higher level than he had at W11. He played very well in that match and only lost because he’s become shaky mentally in big moments from mid 2014 on. Nole had to play really well to beat him. His highest grass level was the 2007 final though, or maybe 08 Queens match against Djokovic.

Where's the irony? You decided to bring up Federer's record on clay against Nadal not me, the fact that I've turned it round on you is hardly ironic. It's just another example of self-ownage.

Also please don't talk about shifting goalposts when you basically duck every point I make :-D That and double standards are basically your only two moves.

Even grass peak 2007dal (finals level) might have lost to 2011ovic due to matchup but conversely 2007erer or 2008erer both would have beaten 2011ovic or 2015ovic.

Goes 5 IMO or at least 4 very tight sets with Djokovic probably edging it over 2018 Nadal. Djokovic level wasn’t his best in Wimbledon 11 just good IMO.
How do you think 2008 Nadal vs Djokovic 2015 on grass goes? 5 setter?
Djokovic in 4 sets. Nadal's pressure on Djoker's BH could not be as successful as he was against Fed 2008. In matchup terms, Djoker is a more difficult opponent for Nadal than Federer. In addition, Fed's mental strength in 2008 was damaged by a crushing loss to Bull on RG. Let's not forget that Fed led in the 2nd set 4:1 and lost the set 4: 6. Ultron 2015 would not waste this leadership.
