Its almost too incredible to say out loud.
Federer winning his 20th major is also something.
I know which is about to happen.
Federer winning at least two grand slams for four consecutive years is more impressive in my humble opinion.
I know that you have serious issues with using the appropriate tense.
Federer winning 5 Wimbledons and 5 US Opens both in a row is better than anything Nadal has ever done.
Nothing beats a decade of slams. And nothing beats clay, grass and hardcourt slams in a calendar year (2010).
Dominance in 2 Slams/on 2 surfaces > dominance in 1 Slam/on 1 surface
Dominance over 5 years > Dominance over 4 months
Not to mention Wimbledon is more prestigious than the FO by default.
Chris Bradnam said that he could extend the record (number of Roland Garros titles won) beyond anyone's reach. Truly breathtaking.
All it shows it that he's been extremely successful at one slam and we already know he's the goat on clay
I wouldn't book the 2014 crown yet though, Djokovic came awfully close this year (and fairly close last year, had the match not been postponed)
Isnt this 2013?
2014 is almost here.
I cant see anyone stopping nadal on the red clay if he is still driven and motivated.
we just have to find out if he is still driven and motivated. it could be that he is writing the rest of the year off so he can come back fresh and hungry.
