He should of changed his game style, then ? If he didn't see the problem as coach, then he is admitting his own failures.i feel like toni keeps it pretty real...this is not an outrageous claim, nadal certainly missed his share of majors along the way.
I've just been responding to your points, if you don't care, then just stop replying. None of the other Big 3 members were born with a physical deformity, so nah there is no "same thing" for either Federer or Djokovic.Again, who cares? Nadal has a physical limitation. If you are going to start imagining an alternative reality where he doesn’t have to deal with that we can do the same for all other players.
And why would I be insecure? Lol
Novak already has all the key records. If on top of that I start playing the “if,if, if” game Nadal fans are so fond of I can easily say Novak would have 35 slams by now
He’ll come up with somethingWonder what excuse he has for Rafa's Tour Finals record.
Nadal could have been the president of Spain if he didn't pick his butt so much.
We all have limitations!Nadal could have been the president of Spain if he didn't pick his butt so much.
We all have limitations!
He already said it's unfair that Nadal plays most of the time on non preferred fast surfaces. "Indoors tennis is not real tennis" incoming.Wonder what excuse he has for Rafa's Tour Finals record.
A mix of Toni and someone like Moya early on would have made for a much more complete and formidable Nadal on all surfaces.Injuries are part of the game. But give Rafa a better coach a bit earlier in his career, and then we could talk about it.
I doubt the Serbian player will be able to maintain that level a year from now and sooner rather than later the three youngsters will start beating him regularly in Majors tournaments.I wonder if he'll still feel that way if Novak goes on to win 30 slams
Imagine if we had seen a bit more of 2010 US Open ServeDalA mix of Toni and someone like Moya early on would have made for a much more complete and formidable Nadal on all surfaces.
Scary to think about it!

toni nadal said:“I think Federer and Nadal have transcended their sport more than Djokovic. And Federer has transcended his sport more than anyone else,”
Still an overall negative by a long shot.On the other hand, those breaks definitely helped him to recharge, work on the weaknesses, recover physically and mentally as his style has always been more physically taxing than Fedovic's. 2013 was a great example of Nadal being more fresh (skipping two slams practically) and smartly creating his schedule, while performing on a very high level in the tournaments he entered, of course.
Borg could never afford such a prolonged "vacation", while Nadal (and today's players in general, including the other two guys) could get off the tour for several months basically every second year. So yeah, less opportunities for playing a slam, but also more time to recover. It goes both ways imo.
Toni thinks the Tour finals are tough because you have to play well from the first match:Wonder what excuse he has for Rafa's Tour Finals record.
Toni admitting WTF is too difficult for RAFA?![]()
And Rafa himself of course wants the ATP finals to be played on rotating surfaces, so it would be on clay at least in some editions:
“I’m talking for the future generations, something that will be a little bit fairer for the players. And I think for the fans it will be interesting to change the surface every year to the surfaces we qualified on for the (Tour Finals). A good player has a chance to qualify for the (Tour Finals) four or five times in his career, so if during this four years you have a different surface every year, a minimum one time he will have the chance to play on his favorite surface.” - Rafael Nadal

Reminding me how epic konquest mode is in DeceptionUncle Toni has been pretty vocal lately for a guy who's been coaching FAA into the netherrealm.
WTF indeed!Toni admitting WTF is too difficult for RAFA?
incorrect. he has a higher ratio with one less win. #122Btw, the whole premise is wrong. Nadal has a lower slam win rate than Novak.
Wrong. Nadal has 22 slams in 67 attempts. 32.84%incorrect. he has a higher ratio with one less win. #122
Wrong I'm talking about Final percentage, so you fail.Wrong. Nadal has 22 slams in 67 attempts. 32.84%
Novak has 23 in 70 attempts. 32.86%
All of them born same year.
Djokovic knows about his gluten intolerance before going pro.
Nadal has healthy foots.
Federer has a way better diet (he said that he eats a lot of ice cream, pizza and fries).
2 masters 1000 on grass introduced.
Let's say they all start in 2007.
Murray, Wawrinka, Delpo, Thiem not so much affected by injuries.
Who wins more GS and more Masters?
Wrong I'm talking about Final percentage, so you fail.
That's basically the same rate lol. That means, what, for every ten thousand majors they play Novak should be expected to win 2 more than Rafa?Wrong. Nadal has 22 slams in 67 attempts. 32.84%
Novak has 23 in 70 attempts. 32.86%
That is due to Djokovic winning the French Open. Djokovic has always been behind until this time.Btw, the whole premise is wrong. Nadal has a lower slam win rate than Novak.
I said finals. Lmao.Haha what? So you were wrong and now you meant only in finals?
Lmao
Yes it's a very close things. That's basically the same rate lol. That means, what, for every thousand majors they play Novak wins 2 more than Rafa?
We'll see how it ends up, of course. I'd bet on Djokovic's rate improving a fair amount over the next 2-3 years.
Torben Dallas MultipassYes it's a very close things.
You could also look at it this way. Djokovic has a Slam win for every 3.043 Slams entered and Nadal has a Slam win for every 3.045.
It's too bad Nadal missed the French Open, otherwise...
I said finals. Lmao.
