These threads are so silly. How would a coked up (it was rampant on the tour in those days) Nadal have fared in the early 80's against players like Lendl or Wilander at Roland-Garros if he had to use an Adidas GTX or Rossignol F200 with gut strings? It's impossible to fairly compare different eras.

Thiem Played the best clay tennis Against Rafa & has best winning percentage on clay Vs Rafa

Federer Had the potential to Beat Rafa but Mentally was just to Weak and clay is worst surface

Djokovic 8-2 Record in Slam Matches but Still the had some Great Wins Against Rafa 8 wins

Wawrinka 8-1 Losing record but still a Clay beast on his best day

Coria only played 3 times and one was Classic but hardly a real career long opponent

Ferrer Literally any decent players Bunny wouldn’t have been top 10 in the 90s

Tsitsipas Has a High Clay Level but hardy played Rafa

Fognini won 3 times against nadal but not archived much else on clay or anywhere

Alcaraz currently 1-1 but he came along when nadal was 35 so it’s too late to affect Rafa
