Nadal's MRI

And therein lies the problem with HumbleRaf. Acapulco is a nothing tournament. Why recover for three weeks then play there? Why not take 4 or 5 weeks off, then come back totally fit at Indian Wells?

no guarantee he won't...at this point in his career it's "best laid plans" territory..but you don't want to pull the rug out from under the tournament this far out....so often we forget that the ATP tour still matters...for Acapulco/Mexico this is their slam and it's starting to grow

Nadal hasnt beaten fed in like 4years, that rivalry ended years ago.

Nadal hasn’t beaten Federer in 3.5 years.

Which part is it that you do not understand?

What's your point? That he will never beat him again? Fed has had streaks like that against Nadal in the past when both were in their primes. Nadal has had 3 5-win streaks against Fed (not 1, but 3.) The difference is that some of those streaks had matches on surfaces that should have favored Federer. Imagine what the situation would have been if Fed had played the clay season.

Nadal/Federer last slam matches, latest first (winner in parenthesis):

AO17 (Federer)
AO14 (Nadal)
AO12 (Nadal)
FO11 (Nadal)
AO09 (Nadal)

Last year(2017) Fed snapped his decade long losing streak to Rafa in slams. Before that he had lost 6 times in a row to Rafa at slams and the last time he had beaten Rafa at a slam was 2007.Fed showed that he is too good a player to keep down for 10 years.

Federer or Nadal had a streak over the other spanning 3.5 years?

Tell me about it.

8-)

He really shouldn’t try to rush back for a tournament like Acupulco. I’m envious of all the radical Federer fans on this site though, these guys are all clearly incredibly smart since they are all doctors and have gone through medical school! I have newfound respect for the keyboard warriors who are sharing their medical expertise questioning why a professional athlete who makes a living off of being among the fittest in he world would take an injury in his hip area extremely seriously since it’s totally not a big deal and isn’t like he could have done more serious long term damage (see Andy Murray).

The hatred and contempt they have for Nadal at this point is ridiculous.

Look up from Fed’s belt buckle for once.

Not sure why it turned out "minor injury" is supposed to surprise anyone. Nadal' injuries throughout his career come and go in convenient time. There is #1 ranking is on the stake in Acapulco, so no surprise he will be there. Clay always remained most significant part of season for him so just once in thirteen years he found himself injured during it while indoors part of season (his weakest) he gets injured once in every couple of years. He is relatively stronger in first half of season than in second. So you never see him sitting out for first six months of the year.

when nadal gets injured in the first half of the year,he's always ok for his next scheduled tourney

I am not accusing you of anything.

I am stating a fact.

If thar sounds like an accusation to you then I am probably on the right track with the suggestion that you are looking for a fight.

I'm done talking with you about this. I called out this guy for his improper behavior, and you called me out for calling him out. Yet I'm the one who's looking for a fight? I believe that acting in a racist way should be looked down as a worse offence than calling out people who engage in that type of behavior.

The point is that this guy is using those words to get to Michael Nadal. If you condone that, good for you. I don't. And if you agree with Tennissanity's behavior, then that's your problem.

Condone what? What words? Homeboy? That's racist?

How do we know tennissanity isn't black himself? How do we know what race MichaelNadal Is? Assuming (as you seem to be suggesying) that the former is white and the latter is black, do we really know what the intent behind using those words are?

I'm not about to jump the gun and accuse some random board member of being racist when that member hasn't said anything racist so far, as far as I can see.

Not really sure what's edging you on.

So a pulled hip flexor. Surprised he couldn't play through that

Didn't Fed play through a torn meniscus in 2016?

I don't believe he did.

Q. Can you explain to us exactly what happened to you and what has happened since?
ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, well, I mean, it happened the day after the Djokovic match. I woke up, I don't know exactly remember what happened, I think I was going to run a bath for the girls. I made a very simple movement, turned back, heard a click in my knee. Went to the zoo. My leg was swollen.

Regarding Nadal's MRI and injury, I think he should seat Acapulco out and let Fed take #1 in 5 weeks. Federer deserves to taste the #1 rank once more before retirement.

gosh; I get a grade 1 strain of my iliopsoas getting up out of my chair.

A beast like Nadal should thrive on the feedback from that sort of niggling thing.

I would like rafa more if he played through and was a more graceful loser like Djoko

Yeah. Nadal should have continued to play to worsen the injury and make you happy.

Stop talking nonsense. You need to apologize to Michael Nadal, it is really that simple. Saying that you "didn't know what race the guy was" is a lie. The only two times you use "homeboy" and "mac daddy" in any of your posts in this forum, and they magically happen to be addressed to one of the few black posters? As I said earlier, not everyone is as stupid as you assume.

LOL, I'm not talking nonsense moron. I am not a racist, but you sure make a lot of presumptions. You don't even know my background. You're a complete idiot man. Show me the specific quote from where I was called out AND the post that I made that was racist in that context. LOL, you can't because it doesn't exist.

For the Venus thing everyone was speculating on what happened before the video was out. I said she might be guilty and all of a sudden a bunch of people called me racist. LOLLLLL, that's exactly what you're doing here boy. Pathetic loser, people like you really need to be stopped.

When you are arguing with a black guy you don't call him "mac daddy" or "homeboy." Do that in person, and see what happens to your face. You are a sad excuse for a human being, and yes, it's clear from the way you carry yourself that you are a racist. I'm not the first person to call you out on it. Take this as an opportunity to become a better person, and start by apologizing to Michael Nadal. I'm done talking to you, as you are up to no good. Do what is right, or continue behaving the way you do, it's that simple.

First of all don't tell me what to do. Second of all you don't know my background. I'll do whatever I want in person or not. That's my business. Why don't you mind your own? You keep repeating you're not the first person to call me out, show me the evidence where not only was I called out, but the offending post? You have nothing punk, and you need to shut it. You need to take this chance to grow a brain for once in your life and join the human race. You won't be done, because your ego won't let you. Loser.

Not really. You talk loud behind your keyboard, that's all. Also, I can't point to posts that have been edited by you, can I? I can point to the "homeboy" and "mac daddy" posts, and that's good enough evidence, plus the fact people already called you out on those posts you edited. Enough of this, I'm not talking anymore with a keyboard warrior. No point.

Didn't keep him from running down a drop shot.

I realise it suits the agenda of most people here to ignore what actually happened, but the injury occurred when he ran down the drop shot.

Post match press conference.

Start to feel the muscle little bit tired in the third, but playing normal, no limits, no limitation. Then in the fourth at one movement, one dropshot I think, I felt something. At that moment I thought something happened.
