Nalbandian any chance to reach the finals?

Nalbandian has reached one career Wimbledon final. He seems to have played well at Wimbledon so far, but hasnt faced a tough opponent yet.
Do you think he has a chance to make another final? Roddick is vurnerable, and he has a good record against him since almost beating him in the U.S open semis 2 years ago. The rest of the draw is open down there, although there are some good players, it is nothing like the top half. It will be interesting to see if he can make another big run at a grand slam.

Nalbandian could make it - but I wouldn't bet any of my hard earned cash on it. I think Nalbandian's serve is always breakable - even for someone with Roddick's return skills. But I don't see Nalbandian getting many breaks on Roddick. Of course if someone else - Grosjean? - were to upset Roddick for him then Nalbandian could easily find himself in another final and accepting another runners up plate.

Actually the last several times Roddick played Nalbandian he had alot of trouble breaking his serve. I think if Nalbandian plays well vs Roddick he can take care of his serve, and he returns Roddick's serve better than most. Their last match was 18 months ago though, I dont know if Nalbandian is as confident as he was then. Grosjean wont take Roddick out though, he lost to him 6-2, 6-2 on clay earlier this year.

Andrew Murray is really impressing me in this match. His serve and groundstrokes are much bigger than Henman's, although he doesnt come to net nearly as much. Maybe he is the heir apparent to take over from Tim.

I can't agree. I see a lot of lazy footwork. Murray has a topspin backhand but is hitting a lot of slice backhands. Throwing in a few is ok as a change of pace and when approaching the net.

His coach wearing The Sun hat is amusing. The Sun makes the NY Post look good.

Nalbandian is actually playing not as well as he should in the match so far....
Choking a little bit and having to face the British crowd.
Disappointed with Nalbandian so far!!!!

Though Murray's groundstrokes are a bit more powerful than Henman's, but it's nothing compared with likes of the "big boys" at the top.

There is alot of talk in UK about him being the next Henman but being British and a little unpatriotic, I would say it's early. Plus he is more of an baseliner than a S&V.
Plus even if you play well as a junior, it's no certainty on the main tour.
Wasn't there a British guy called Jamie Delgado who did really well as a junior but then never materialised when he got onto the mains?

Nalbandian is definitely noy playing his best.... looks like he could lose a few pounds and his usually powerful groundstrokes just aren't there.

nalbandian is in the bottom section of the draw, so my answer is yes. the draw is so weak at the bottom compared to the top.

Hopefully if Andrew Murray takes Nalbandian out he can be the one to upset Roddick in the semis. His only chance though would be for a very hostile crowd that throws Roddick off his game substantialy. Given Roddick's temperment problems that is quite plausible though.
