Hello,

Is there any way to update or change a username? I choose mine before starting Vantage and its been questioned as an act of delibrate stealth. If its not possible to change the username, can you confirm that TW is happy for me to use my company name and position in my signature?

many thanks,

Paul

Unfortunately, the new posters outnumber the regulars...

That being said, I don't think you're being deliberately stealthy.

Paul, let me assure you that in no way did I ever think you were being deliberately stealthy. I for one have greatly appreciated your insights on racquet design and manufacture. I certainly hope you will continue to contribute here at this message forum.

+ Everyone knows who Racketdesign is. Even a noob like me!

Although Paul destroyed my dreams with this:
As i've mentioned before on here, I was head of design at dunlop until recently, and 2 years ago was given the task to look at remaking the Max 200G. Unfortunately it all came down to cost. Standard racket tooling costs around $7000 to produce. This cost is absorbed into the cost of the number of rackets produced. Add material cost and labour... you have a retail price. With the injected rackets, the tooling cost is upwards of $100,000. The raw material cost is higher, and the production costs more.. end result... a racket that is too expensive to make for such a limited target market.
