How do you get a national rank?
by playing in national tournaments, designateds, and sectionalsbnv b
By playing tournaments rated Level 1 thru 5. Start with level 5s.
Around where I am Level 1's only count for Sectional rankings...must be a section discrepancy. The L1+ are the ones that count for National rankings.
u hav to raise ur state ranking first boi
national rankings vs sectional rankings
Yes, there are two types
Yes, they use the same numbering system
However, a Sectional level 1 = national level 3 or 4
nationals 1 - 5 will get him a national rankings. (Sectional levels 1-2 are typically at that level. I am not sure if a Sectional level 3 would still clip the National level 5, but maybe.)
When in doubt, call or e-mail your state or sectional tennis association.
What section are you in? Then we could identify the tournaments for you.
Well, I am too old to play in junior USTAs nowaday, but some tournaments are labeled differently. Like a Sectional level 3 doesn't even count towards your regional ranking...in my section.
