Which is softer (easier on the arm) ?
Babolat Tonic+ Natural gut 15L or Wilson sensation Multi 17?

If you comparing nat gut with multi, at least put a high-end multi, not a crappy one.
The difference would be negligible. If you are getting tennis elbow with one, you've got yourself a sensitive elbow.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but you might want to look at a racquet that is easier on the arm.
A 12.5oz racquet is not exactly easy to wield for extended periods of time, espcially if age is catching up.
I take it that you like Pro Supex?
To the OP, natural gut is amazing on the arm. You won't look back once you try it. I can't really say that I've tried Tonic, but I use VS on my main stick and it's incredible.
P.S. Why not try natural gut in a thinner gauge? I'm assuming that you don't break a lot of strings, since you said that you're a relatively flat hitter. Is there a reason for choosing 15L to compare with 17 gauge?

yes, I hit it flat/slice/underspin. The only place I use topspin is on my serves (both 1st & 2nd). I just want the durability.. My 4 racquets cost me ~$60 totally & $25 for a string is not something i can afford every month. I am hoping 15L at 35 lbs tension lasts 4-6 months, I will try a second racquet with 17 gauge natural gut at 30-35 lbs, and hopefully it lasts at least 2 months.. I play about 6 hours a week.
Why dont you save some money a buy your own stringing machine, you can save a lot once you have and can put new string more freccuent.
I do own a klippermate.. Best $150 investment I ever made.
But a single natural gut set itself is $25
anyway, I just got Babolat tonic+ 15L natural gut, and strung it at 35 lbs this morning.. I will try it out today![]()
I dont get this, you cant spend around $15-20 monthly on strings??
