NBA 2018-19: Dynasty Season 5; Can The Carrington Warriors Defend???

Harden got his 20th 40+ game of the season (44/8/6) and continued the 30+ streak to 27 games as Houston edged the Suns in Phoenix 118-110.

I am disappoint @Ronaldo did not shout out for the Pistons rout of visiting Denver, 129-103. Casey resurrected some great play from his bench with Stanley Johnson finally looking like an eighth overal pick (21/7/2 in 24 minutes), Langston Galloway (18 points in 24 minutes), and Luke Kennard (14/4/4 in 23 minutes. Zaza even banged for 8 boards while Drummond rested a bit from a 27/12 night.

Marvin Bagley III continues to put up starting stats from Sacto’s bench (24/12/4/1/3 in 30 minutes) as the Kings thumped visiting SAS, 127-112.

Greek Freak had a 30/15/9 night as Milwaukee cruised in Brooklyn, 113-94.

The Hawks went into the District and left with a 137-129 win behind NINE players in double digits. Vinsanity got 16 off the bench in 15 minutes!

Toronto visiting Philadelphia is the marquee game tonight.

After the Pistons blew a 25 pt lead agin the Clippers at home with Steve Baldmer smiling to lose by 10, I barely watched last nights game v the Nugglets.
Seems like the Pistons are getting healthy while others are so banged up that three or more players are not traveling with the team. Or at least dressing.
The Pistons starters sat out the 4th qtr.

The curse of a @Ronaldo gif...after getting dissed by PistonRonnie, Boban gets traded by LAC to sweeten the pot enough for The Process Servers in the We Want The Most Traded Fringe Superstar Trade. The Sixers give up Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, two 1R and two 2R picks for Boban, Mike Scott and Tobias Harris . There is now no stronger starting lineup in the East than the Broad Street Brown Bombers. Anything less than The Finals will be an underachievement.

For Harris, this is his fifth different team if you exclude the yo yo back and forth between Orlando and Detroit that adds to his transaction history.

The trade also loads LAC up for the FA market with salary cap room and draft picks. The wizard Jerry West strikes again!

Pacers 136 LABronners 94 scoreline made me think LaGroin was a DNP but he saw the floor for 30 minutes and nearly trip-dubbed (18/7/9). The problem was he led his team in all three of those stats. Lot of quit from the tradebait kids.

I share your pain as a jilted ex-Toby believer from his two stays here in Mousetown. At least he’s going where a title is possible, even if it’s just an Eastern Conference banner.
Decided to watch the Cavs more with the young players and seems like teams trade strength. It is amazing the attendance at the Cavs games, so much talent untapped.

Larry drew the short straw after de facto Coach James left and Lue needed youth in Asia after six losses. What a mess to inherit!

Bucks not freaky, 105; Freaky Buck, 43; Wizards, 129. Six Bucks in double figures. Cream of The East.

Denver loses again despite another trip-dub by Jokic. Brooklyn too much 135-130.

Dallas wins 99-93 over Charlotte despite an ugly Doncic trip-dub (5 of 20 shooting?) 19/10/11 for the teen.

Gasol to Toronto is the big deadline day deal. Pretty uneventful bunch of small trades

But it is the end of an error in Philly as fultz is dealt to @stringertom s magic.

Knicks not dealing vonleh hopefully means we’re gonna resign him. He reminds me of a more athletic draymond green. One of the few bright spots this year

I like the Fultz deal as the 1R pick is from OKC. Simmons is part of the overbloated wingmen on the Magic roster so it frees up more time for the remaining roster.

If and when Fultz recovers this could solve the 1/2 puzzle in Mousetown. We haven’t had a true PG of any quality since Jameer Nelson. His size will let him hybridize between PG/SG...if that disorder is medically fixed.

If Lebron is serious about making the playoffs this season he needs to be back on form pretty fast, motivate this seemingly broken team and go full Game 6 vs Boston for the rest of the season...

Ugly yes but first time in NBA history a teenager has 3 triple doubles. He seems to be concerned about his three point shots and the percentage for some reason. I like the enthusiastic kid when he first arrived. Now he seems to be playing with his stats.

By the way it was a double triple double night for my two favorite players as Jokic's also had one.

I think I highlighted the Jokic trifecta but it was a bad night for enver without any D.

SSDD for Denver...Jokic with a trip dub but they lose again on the road to another EC team. This time it was the new improved Process with four fresh faces giving 26 points to the cause but Redick was en fuego with 34 and near perfect trey bombing.

I think Murray is not playoff-ready. Actually Denver as a team doesn't look like they can beat GSW or even OKC. Hope they will prove me wrong.
What is left there to watch? Conference finals are already determined.
GSW-OKC

Philadelphia is very deep now in scoring options. Toby Harris is perhaps the most underrated player in the league.

Houston, when Capela returns, will be in the mix out West. He now has a good backup to play bigger moments with Manimal instead of ancient Nene.

Embiid and Simmons are as fragile as a 5 year old kid starting school come playoff time. They will have no chance imo.
Houston is a one man show and will be stopped during playoffs, he cannot create miracles every game. Again my opinion if course,. No crystal ball I have.
