Curry best shooter I’ve ever seen but he built a house of bricks that fourth quarter reminds me of 2016 gm 7

Curry makes such unbelievable shots that demoralizes a team ... Perhaps less effective today in the fourth with KT out of the game.

I was referring to Draymond with the TO even though they were out of them.
It’s a state of Michigan universities thing. Move over, Chris Webber...you have company on the bus now.

Congrats, Toronto! Well earned to sweep GSW in their barn, even depleted by two bad wheels on two vital parts of their team. That box-and-one made Curry work so hard that his legs were gone.

It will be a tough act to follow this extremely interesting season and playoffs but 2019-20 is only a little more than 100 days away.

First time a Canadian team has won a major sports title in like 25 years. First one I'm old enough to remember.
I'm glad Kawhi was able to do it for them. He needed his teammates, but you don't have that trophy without Kawhi (obviously).

Sad for Klay. Hope he will be ok. He singlehandedly deserved to win this match. Hopefully we will see a rematch next year between these teams next year.
Unfortunately for him, I jinxed him by saying I was worried he would take over this game. The universe doesn't like it when I'm right.

Great to see the Raps win. Great to see Curry brick all those shots in the 4th, dude got outplayed by both Lowry and FVV tonight. If the Raps ring is asterisk'd, than so is the Warriors only legit title in 15. Cavs were missing Kyrie and Love. Last 2 years didn't count because stackedness. WOooooooooooooooooooOOOOoooooooo Kawhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Raptors were in every game. Could have easily swept.

Danny Green almost blew it at the end with the stupid pass and turnover. But Curry could not hit the game-winner to force a Game 7.

Game 7 would have been a classic.

For life bro.

Biggest Favre fan ever.

Me too. Last time a sporting event made me cry was the Vikings loss to the Saints. I refuse to ever re-watch that game.

When Favre lost it always felt like a family member had passed away. Favre was bigger than any team for me. I became a Jets/Vikings fan the instant he joined. My loyalty was to Favre first, not the Pack. Him lighting up the Pack on MNF his first time against them was the most savage thing I've ever seen in sports. Then torching them again in Lambeau later in the season.

The only guy, and I never thought anyone would ever do it to me again, that made me that upset/into about sports since is Federer.

Favre made it easy to stomach any of my other favorites losing so I appreciate him for that. Though Federer losses hit me hard. Ironically 2009 USO loss being one of them. 2014 Wimbledon was also especially brutal as I was going through a tough time in real life and the false hope comeback all the way to BP at 3-3 on Djokovic's serve haunts me to this day.

Those are 2-3 of the most painful losses I can think of as a fan, that NFC title game (the Giants one as well the year before), and Fed losing Wimbledon in 2014.

I had the exact same kind of fandom. I don't normally name where I'm from on a public forum, but I've been here almost 2 full years(which seems longer). Just think about Favre and his alma matter and I'm 30 miles up the road. Met Steve Mcnair. Worked at his house after he passed away. I use to do construction. Painting and everything under my Dad. Love the Saints. Got hit by Hurricane Katrina. I'm a southern boy.

Not sure where this should go now w/2 separate NBA threads, but thought you might like to check out some of the crazy reactions happening right now in the Great White North (you have to scroll all the way down, but any decent computer/phone should be able to handle it):

Got an early start tomorrow so my final remarks will have to wait. In the meantime congrats Toronto and Canada!!!

I was wrong unfortunately, Klay torn ACL. It's not as bad as KD's Achilles but it will take about 6 months to get back to normal. He is a shooter so it should not affect him not as much I hope.

Funny many people in Montreal were cheering and celebrating for a team from Toronto last night. Lol
It’s funny how that works in Canada tbh. When it comes to the Raptors and Blue Jays, the entire nation is backing Toronto and pulling hard for them to win one for the nation. However, when it comes to hockey, there’s no team that’s more hated across Canada than the Leafs, who ironically are Toronto’s most famous sports team lol

I know it's a cliche, but horrible officiating all series going both ways. Some egregious calls made this game too (I'm talking Kawhi charge, counsins goaltending foul and Cook/Lowry collision). Not to mention the why-the-hell-not time extension after the foul on Kawhi at the end of the game
