I think they will find a formula to play the playoffs if it gets better by the second half of April. Most probably they will go straight to the playoffs with current standings.
They might, but if the public hysteria continues the NBA will court public goodwill by shutting down for the season....which means Toronto remains defending champion next year.

Good news. I was afraid of Ibaka who was with Gobert the entire match.

Coronavirus tests for members of the Toronto Raptors' travel party have come back negative, with one person's result still pending, the team announced Friday night.
The Raptors were the last team to play the Utah Jazz, who have two players -- Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell -- who have tested positive for the virus.

Detroit Pistons forward Christian Wood has tested positive for the coronavirus, a league source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Wood, 24, is the third known player in the NBA to have a positive test for the virus, along with Utah Jazz players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.

So three NBA players out of 450? Do you believe in the numbers in the news? 3/450 is like 7 people out of 1000. That is like more than 2 million people with the virus in the US. These players do not even mix with the public. They don't work in an office, they don't take the bus to work etc, yet three of them got the virus.

The Pistons played Utah on 3/7. He played 38 minutes in his best game of the season at that point, scoring 30 points. I’m sure there was ample court time in that game when he and Gobert/Mitchell were competing.

The court and the locker rooms are giant Petri dishes. I’m surprised there aren’t more positive tests yet.

The point is 3 players got the virus. The numbers must be much higher for the general public and they shut everything down when it became obvious. Trump government has been a big failure from the start. If this is the mightiest country on earth, think about the rest.

Marcus Smart is the latest to announce he is positive.

Two Lakers also tested positive. Their identities have yet to be shared.

This runs a little over a regulation half of a game but it may be The Chef’s career GOAT half in terms of dishing to a real straight shooter:

NEW YORK -- James Dolan, the owner of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers, has tested positive for the coronavirus, his NBA team said in a statement Saturday night.
The Knicks said that Dolan, 64, is experiencing "little to no symptoms" and is self-isolating. He is the first U.S. major pro sports owner known to have tested positive for the virus.

ESPN NBA analyst Doris Burke has received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19 but says she is symptom-free more than two weeks after her initial concerns of an illness.

I have to wonder if there’s going to be any continuation of ‘19/‘20 play and, if so, how Silver will handle resumption of play and the draft for the next season. In a very weak draft class, will GSW hold the most lottery balls for with their unexpected cellar dwellership???
