nBlade String Suggestions?

I was lucky enough to pick up a nBlade 106 for quite a steal a few months ago, however, I'm having some troubles deciding on how to restring it.

I bought the racquet used with Wilson Sensation 16's... I really liked the feel on those, but I wasn't able to really generate the topspin I wanted with it. I switched to Luxilon TiMo 18s by recommendation of my coach (strung at 50lbs), but I'm frustrated by the lack of feel with these strings.

I'm going to get my racquet restrung soon, and I would love some suggestions on a spinny string that is softer than the TiMos.

I have been using the Nblade 98 for about six months. I string mine with NXT Tour 17. But remember your form will dictate whether or not you generate topsin not the racket/strings.

That's true, but I definitely noticed that I had much more topspin with the TiMos as opposed to the Sensations.

I honestly wouldn't mind going back to the Sensations and just try to modify my form if it wasn't for the fact that the Sensations went dead within 1 or 2 weeks. I'm a college student, and I can't really afford to be restringing every couple of weeks. ^^;

At the moment, I'm between just getting the NXT 16s or trying out the ALU Rough 16s at a lower tension.

I used the nBlade 98. The best setup I've ever had with it is...(and still current):

KGut Pro 17 @ 60lbs (M)
PSGD 16 @ 58lbs (X)

Good feel, and spits the cost of the KGut. You can also try natural gut on the mains...if you want to spend the money.

If you're going to get the NXT, get the NXT MAX version, not the regular one, which loses tension too fast.

If you'd like more spin too, and want to avoid poly, then I'd do Prince's Topspin with Duraflex, 15L.

Tried out my pal's nBlade 98 with a fresh set of NXT (on the firm side) and it hit like the suspention on a sweet sports sedan - soft enough for the long haul, but crisp enough for high performance.

I have an nBlade 98 and put Timo in at 57. Felt awesome. Had a bit more bite than the multi's I was using and good feel too.

x1 bi phases 17g
at max.

What a fine coincidence! I have a set of 17g left.

Will do it the next time i restring. The 17g is gonna rot if i dont do this: i bought the x1 and found out that i dont like anything softer than syn gut.
