This is SHOCKING.Throw the damn ball. What is OSU doing????
Guess beating Michigan isn't as important as some think.
Sure, be salty about it, but the program would rather win the NC and lose to Michigan then to beat Michigan and lose the NC.Incorrect . Only those who have resided in Ohio and or Michigan get it. I still have Ohio State friends/ fans that are salty about it.

No one would rather be Michigan lol, I don't care where you are from.
The format changes killed the joy of CFB.Ohio native...happy the Bucks won, especially after the Michigan game but have to admit my interest in college sports has really waned over the years...would be much more stoked about a Cleveland professional sports team championship...have the Cavs finals win over GS way over this
I've lost the love long before that, and admittedly more with men's basketball, the one and done...but something about football too, I think more all the conference realignmentsThe format changes killed the joy of CFB.
Yeah the conference realignments already killed it for me, they just hit the same year as the 12 team playoff and were driven by the same people so I don't distinguish them.I've lost the love long before that, and admittedly more with men's basketball, the one and done...but something about football too, I think more all the conference realignments
Me too. I've wondered if it's me getting old or the sports/changes. Likely a bit of both but conference realignment really killed it for me. I stopped watching mid 3rd quarter last night...I'm approaching 50 yo and have been glued to these games my entire life. The one and done is horrible for college sports. I can't keep up with players of the schools I attended, much less the top 25. I used to watch 2-3 college basketball games per week but I'm lucky to watch a couple per month at this point. I do still love March Madness but find myself pulling for the smaller schools that maybe have squads that have been together 2-3 years.I've lost the love long before that, and admittedly more with men's basketball, the one and done...but something about football too, I think more all the conference realignments
I live in Columbus, the fans are what they are. But what I will say is many important OSU sponsors and donors/boosters definitely care more about The Game than winning the Natty.I have got no dog in Ohio State/Michigan and tell you there are a fair amount of negative nellies that would still be mad they lost "The Game" even with winning the Natty. Having lived both places the only difference between the fans is the team they support. It's a BIG deal to them.
Lleyton thinks me going to U of M makes me a fan of their football team. Not at all. If anything my disdain for them grew while I was there.
