Need a racket recommendation!

My perfect racket would be Solinco Whiteouts string pattern in a TF40 frame with a normal grip that isn’t rectangular… I’ve heard the Blade Pro has a pretty open string pattern. Anything else out there that fills my needs?

I’ve tried
Radical Pro, Extreme Tour, Speed pro, Prestige MP, Pure strike, Pure Aero VS, Ezone 98, Vcore 95, Vcore pro 97, Prostaff 97, and Blade 98

current favorites are solinco whiteout and TF40 315 16x19…

thanks for any help!

@boneth85 - So you're targeting higher-power, first-strike style player frames with semi-open, 16-main string patterns and solid layups. For a more square handle, beyond what you've already tried, I would look at the following:
- Diadem Elevate / Elevate Tour - Very open 16x20 pattern. Deceptively stable and powerful. Very nice if you hit with a lot of swipe/windshield-wiper action.
- Prince ATS Tour 98 - 98" player/tweener hybrid, balanced a bit more towards control and plow than outright spin. Comfortable with decent feel.
- Angell TC95/97/100/101 16x19's - Foam-filled custom frames, also with custom handle shapes, that have a high amount of "thud factor" and natural plow-through.

you listed a bunch of racquets you tried but not what you liked or disliked about them...hard to tell what your "needs" are

what if you did the tf40 with a smaller grip size, then use a thicker overgrip or replacement grip to help round out the bevels?

I thought pointing out the rackets I enjoyed, and what about them was enough buuuuuut if it helps

Rad pro- thought it was great preferr more open 16x19 patterns
Extreme Tour- I didn’t like the Hollow feel
Speed Pro - don’t like 18x20’s
Prestige MP - don’t like 18x19s
Babolat Aero VS- good racket a tad too stiff, tad to much pop
Babolat strike - good racket a tad too stiff, tad to much pop
Vcore 95 - a little to demanding…
Ezone 98 - a tad too stiff, and a little to tight if a pattern
Vcore Pro 97 - a little to demanding, hard to shape the ball
Blade 98 - good racket, could shape the ball path better with the solinco
Prostaff - didnt think the racket spun the ball well

I would pay some good coaches and invest in a good technique so you can play with the racquets already tested above.

The Pro Kennex in my sig are pretty close to TF40 305 and better than it, while the Artengo has more power, while maintaining similar control.
I prefer Blade Pro V8 above all atm.

@boneth85 - Based on your added info, you simply must try a Diadem Elevate FS and EFS Tour. String your normal poly a tad higher than you otherwise would, and you'll have a connected and controlled spin machine at your disposal.

You talking trash? I’ve played college tennis, and am uspta certified coach… who are you to talk?

Chill out! No one is talking trash. Most of us here have played college tennis. You aren’t anyone special. He was just giving out an advice. If you don’t want people giving you their ideas, don‘t ask a question.

Maybe try TF40 with a thinner poly like Solinco Confidential 1.20 @ 48lbs & just have pallets changed to your preference. There is also videos of using sports tape to change bevels shape on racquet. The TF 40 315 16x19 is one of best feeling racquets I’ve ever hit. Needs about 3-4 grams of lead total at 10-2.

......then you should be able to play mega good tennis with all the racquets listed above without any problems - what's your problem?
Playing with the rackets isn’t the problem, finding the specs I want… My problem is some stranger saying you need coaching when I’m asking is there a more flexible solinco white out.

So I ask for a racket recommendation, and some troll says get coaching if you can’t play with the rackets you’ve tried. Not saying I’m special, I’m just not gonna sit back and let someone say some backhanded comment.

My strings solinco confidential 16l. The TF40 is great… probably my favorite racket for my backhand. All my rackets are in around 345 grams with a balance point around 30-31cm.

for some reason or another that grip shape just makes continental feel unnatural… also, I don’thave a racket tech that can change pallets where i live.

DIY way, it works great though if you don’t want to switch out pallets.

Gripmoulding is my specialty - unfortunately not in the USA. :)
