So I am seeking some answers from someone familiar with the Pro Stock version (238.2) of the Head Prestige Pro, against an off-the-shelf Youtek or MG Prestige Pro (and even against my Mid 237.2!).
Although I am sponsored by two companies, I made the mistake last night of again picking up my 237.2's (16 main Mids). Ooops....Be still my heart!
So it got me thinking; Has anyone here played the Pro Stock 238.2 against a Microgel PP, and those against a Youtek PP version?? (I once hit for a few minutes with a demo, Youtek Mid (maybe it was strings, plus, it is an 18 main, which I generally cannot stand), but I was not at all impressed).
So....Is it worth looking for Pro Stock 238.2's? (Head is ridiculous to try to get sponsored by) Or would siliconing, lead tape, etc., get me pretty close with a stock PP? You cannot get a 16 main Mid, but you CAN get a 16 main 98. I did hit with a Prestige Pro MG once, and it felt veeeery flexy. Too much so, as the flex didn't seem 'even', but it's been awhile, so....
Thanks for any help here...It's got me wondering, as the 237.2 is just an awesome frame, but at 89.5", it is at the smallest end of head sizes anywhere.
