Need Feedback for Pure Storm LTD GT

I'm using a Speed Pro right now and while I like it, I'd also like something a little bit lighter that I can customize. The Babolat Pure Storm LTD GT looks to fit the bill on paper. It's .4 oz lighter, .2 points more headlight, less SW, 11 points less stiff, beam is only 1mm larger. I like all of those qualities. I only wish it was 16x19.

Can someone give me some feedback on the Pure Storm LTD GT? How does it play (in comparison to the Speed Pro)? Comfortable? Spin? Control?

I use the ltd gt and tried my friends speed pro. I felt that the ltd had alot more feel and control, but was a little less powered and less spinny. I use the ltd stock, but if you desire more heft/power/stability, you could use lead tape, even though i think it is great just the way it is. One note, though, the 18x20 string pattern, smaller head, and more flexibility makes it a considerably underpowered frame. Its comparable to a kblade tour, if not less power.
Hope that helped!

You really need to demo the PSLGT. For most people it is not one of those racquets you can just pick up and play great tennis with, like a Pure Drive for example.

And it is important to string it properly for a proper demo. Putting PHT in there at 60 lbs would be a mistake for 99% of the people who use it. It responds better with tensions in the high 40's for poly and low 50's for multis.

The PSLGT is a racquet designed for the ultimate in control. It brings very little power to your game and demands that you use your entire body to get power into your shots.

If you are going to add lead to a PSLGT you might as well consider demoing the BLX90, Volkl PB10mid and the Head Prestige Mid.

better off finding an older 16x20 pure storm and doing a proper customisation job. I just got one and Im adding leather and overgrip, 16g from 10 to 2 and 14g in the handle. Its now 8pts HL, 352g, low flex (62), high(ish) SW..........cheaper and will have a lot more pop than the LTD.

LTD GT was way underpowered for me, and I was playing with a Prestige mid...maybe it was just me...but it felt like I was taking giant cuts at the ball and it was going nowhere.

Defenitly less power then the Kblade Tour.

When the X-Force rackets come out you might want to consider them.
