My wife uses a very old racquet, called the Head Accurace 660. It's an oversized racquet - if I had to guess, maybe between 100-105 sq in head size. I'd like to get her a new racquet that feels similar in balance, but cannot find the specs for the life in me. The racquet is so old, I'm not able to find the specs on the racquet itself either! Anybody know here?? Thanks in advance for solving my mystery.

It's going to be hard to find anything new that mirrors the specs and feel of a racket from the graphite widebody generation. Modern rackets in the same class acheive stiffness using much lighter materials.

thanks goran, i hear you. i know i probably wont find anything that feels the same, but would like to at least get one with the same pts. of head heaviness to try. this must be an old racquet though, cause i can't even find this info online!

Can't you just weigh the racquet and then find the balance? Just put it on the edge of a table till it's balanced and measure.

well see that's the thing. she's probably playing with a racket that weighs in the ballpark of 11.5-12.5 oz so it is likely 6-8 pts headlight. these days that would mean a serious player's stick like a Head Prestige or a BLX tour 90 when you're probably thinking she's looking for something more along the lines of a game improvement to tweener. head heaviness in game improvement rackets wasn't common until they started making rackets ~10 oz or less.
