Can anyone please help me with info on the power level of the donnay pro one int TW? I asked before and got one very good reply, but before ordering without testing I would really appriaciate any info.
I really like the specs and comments, but I am a little bit worried about the relatively low SW of 320.
How does the power compare to PS 95 or KBT?
Is it stable?
I can handle low power sticks having played wth the PS 7.5 for many years (until I find out the power was too low for todays game).
Thanks for any input, experience, comparison!

I demoed the frame once but can remember it pretty well. I liked it a lot, but I was also demoing the M-fil 300, which I later purchased so I didn't spend as much time with it. The string bed was extremely lively, and I don't know if it was the racket or the strings, but the dwell time was impeccable. The power I could generate was great, but for someone who plays a heavy topspin game like myself, I found it lacking just a hair in the spin department, a few shots going long because I couldn't curve the ball. Control was impressive, especially on volleys. I didn't really serve with the racket, so I'm not much use there. Stability wise, you could definetely feel the flex, but it was a minor problem for me, and I could keep up with hard hitters, especially if a poly was installed.

Hope this helps :D

The weight and balance of the Pro One make it very stable. The flex rating of 58 I believe is right on. If you are from the old school of hitting hard and getting ultimate feel like the original graphite frames then the Pro One will not dissapoint. I would say it plays similar to a Prestige Midplus with a more open pattern say Prestige Pro but with more flex. I have two for a steal on the FS forum if you are interested.

The power level is low/medium. It is not underpowered, just low powered. For me that means I can easily hit winners with the frame.

It is also an excellent platform for weight customization.

As to the other poster saying it does not produce enough spin, I am puzzled. I find this frame to offer a lot of bite on the ball and have a very predictable ball trajectory.

One thing. If you buy a Pro One, be sure to order some grommet sets with it.

I don't have any problem producing spin with the open pattern. The stock weight is stable for most folks but you can always try some lead. I really like the flex and feel but the only shot I have trouble with is the down the line running forehand. I have to be right on or the flex makes it go wide.

It's a very nice racket, you can hit hard or hit with lots of spin. Maneuverable but also good stability. I like the Prostaff 6.0 95 a little better overall for the feel and control. But, the Donnay is still good and feels like a weapon when you use it.

A must buy...

Hi there- I've been playing with the Donnay Pro One Int'l for several years now after switching from the PS 85. I am a 5.5 teaching pro and former Div 1 college player. This stick is SOLD. The swingweight is on the light side, however all the weight is below the throat of this stick. All you need is a little lead tape at the 10 and 2 position and you'll be fine. There is plenty of flex in this stick which allows a solid player to whip their shots and to swing-out. This is a great serving stick and allows for plenty of spin potential.
