need help to calibrate tension

I found a manual for Gamma online and able to do it.
Fishing scale is a very good tool. Once I calibrated the machine to 58lbs, I checked for 50 and 62lbs and all worked perfectly.

Just in case anyone gets an old one of these (Czech Tensioner) like I did recently; the tension adjustment screw (very small) is on the front (facing the turntable; in front of the gripper and under the Diablo) and the set screw is on the side of the tension head so it's kind of similar to the gamma machines that I've seen in one video on YouTube. Counter clockwise (back out) to increase tension and clockwise (screw in) to decrease tension; this should be same as the Gamma. I was surprised to see this machine was off some 20lbs. too low; I guess it lost about a pound for every year it had been sitting around :) .

This video pointed me in the right direction for adjustments.

It sounds like you're referring to the Czech machine/tensioner that @ten11 mentioned. Is that correct?

the tension adjustment screw (very small) is on the front (facing the turntable; in front of the gripper) and the set screw is on the side of the tension head so it's kind of opposite of the gamma machines.

The screws on a Gamma lockout tensioner have the same orientation that you've described the Czech tensioner as having.
So, it sounds like the Czech lockout tensioner has the same layout as a Gamma, rather than the opposite.

Counter clockwise (back out) to increase tension and clockwise (screw in) to decrease tension.

Again, this is the same as a Gamma lockout tensioner.

Thanks, Wes. I put some corrections into the OP along with a video that was helpful. I have a photo showing the Czech Tensioner adjustment screws and uploaded it to dropbox and provided link.
