I have a pretty good 2 Hander, I can go down the line and put it away well, but I have trouble maintaining it in a rally. The problem is that I hit way too flat on it. I have tried dipping the racquet head more, and it helps sometimes but far too few for my liking. What are some things that I can do to get increased spin on my bh?

Wel most likely it is more in your adjustment steps, vision, and timing.

It sounds like you know that a low to high swing makes topspin. It also sounds like you know that by dropping the racquet head from the wrists can also add topspin. So if your not able to do it on some shots, it could be in how you prepare, your movement, your adjusting steps, and your timing.

the other thing is to try swithing your tophand grip to more of a SW grip and pull up as you rotate forward. This also adds topspin.

I find that when I'm hitting a little too flat that I'm not bending my knees enough. The kneebend helps you get below the ball with your normal backswing, which will allow you to get more topspin as you swing up and through the ball.

I am really not an expert but here are some of my tips. First of all go down in the knees more. Relax your wrists. When you are making the stroke you gotta have enough racquet head speed. The most important thing which worked for me is that you concentrate on finishing every stroke behind your right shoulder all the way. You gotta concentrate on that followthrough. You gotta make the whole stroke and go up with the stroke and the ball. Maybe some of this helps. Most important thing is not to choke your swing but swing it away.

A tip from a pro recently helped me get more topspin on the two hander. He told me to make the shot have a "whiffft" sound instead of a "thmp" sound.

Thinking about generating a sound instead of thinking about what my body was doing worked like a charm.

Definitly get down plenty low enough with a knee bend. Also, think about trying to use more wrist to flick the racket head up behind the ball more than using the arms to drive through the ball. This will produce that "whiff" sound.
