Need help with new shoes...have a wierd foot shape!

Okay i have some unique feet on me so i need help with a new tennis shoe.
I wore an a3 accellerate and it was too narrow for my foot and I'd like a shoe to last a little longer too.
Basically my foot is:
pretty wide forefoot, need a wide toebox
pretty narrow heel and i'd like a shoe to lock my heel in place
I have hardly any arch
and i've had heel problems in the past so i need good cushion

I also prefer to wear adidas or Nike is fine also.
any help would be great.
BTW, i wear a size 12 a3 accellerate so any size comparison would be great also.
I dont have any shops that carry adidas and nike around me so i'm kind of lost right now as far as shoes go!
thanks everyone!

I have a similarly shaped foot, almost like a slice of pizza. :p

Anyway, I really like the feel and fitment of my Adidas Barricade II's (which I now wear with a full length insert for my plantar fasciitis). They were fairly comfortable right out of the box, but were perfect after an hour of break-in.

I also like the Nike Breathe Free 2's. The Nike's are a bit narrower up front, but that should be fine after it breaks in. Also, they held the middle and back of my foot really well. They felt like a part of my foot. However, the sole on the Nike isn't removable so it's no good with inserts. As this pair of BII's (my second) are really starting to wear out now, I'm hoping the BIV's come out soon. If not, I'll either be going with BIII's or another pair of BII's.

Careful about the Babolats, though. They've only recently come out. Since you have a picky shoe shape, it might be a good idea to wait for some more customer feedback on how these shoes play and last--particularly for flat feet like yours seem to be. Orthotic inserts might also be the way to go for you.

One of the reviewers on TW(brad i believe was his name) had a very similar shoe shape to mine and seemed to like the shoes. The arch was high at first but broke in he said, which seems to be the general case with all of my shoes. Noelle, what do you think of those Nikes I mentioned?

I've never tried those shoes, sorry. :( And I'm a woman, so my experience wouldn't exactly count. The shoe companies use different lasts for ladies' shoes than men's shoes.

Pogo, I don't think there's a shoe ugly enough to fit that foot. Just cut it off already!

Diadora might be the ticket for you.

You've just been itchin' to post that thing again, haven't you POGO? ;)

Edgy, I haven't tried the other Nike's that you've mentioned but I've found that Nike's are a bit narrow for my foot in general. Either they're too narrow for comfort, or are narrow but can be broken in.

i found the fila xpoint 2 to meet that description..i have just gone down .5 size cause the toebox felt too roomy but the middle and heel taper nicely. I wear 9 in BF2 and most nike in general. Vapor speed NO smaller than 9.5 and in the xpoint i just got an 8.5 and it seems to fit my toes like the vapor speed in the 9.5...still need to get on court though and really try them...i've got plantar facitis and dont know if its from the vapor speed or not....i think the xpoint 2 has better arches...

The pic of the foot will give me nightmares for a week. Cover that thing with something. Try just wearing the boxes on that thing. lol
