Please help me out here. I have a size 9-9.5 AA foot. I'm having trouble finding tennis shoes that will fit. The only tennis shoes that they had in a shop here were New Balance and they were too wide. I heard from a rep that Diadoras ran narrow and ordered some but they too were too high volume and too long. I currently wear a pair of Asics Gel Cumulus running shoes in 9.5 AA for tennis and of course they are getting torn apart. Suggestions please!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance!! Mary

Mary, what do you mean by "low volume/high volume"? Are you talking about the height of the shoe at the ankle?

I am a guy so I can't comment too much on the fit of women's shoes, but generally speaking Adidas shoes (especially the less expensive ones) tend to run narrow. Maybe the CC Feathers or the CC Ultimates are what you're looking for.

volume

volume refers to the lets say thickness of ones foot and how much volume it takes up in a shoe. If one has to snug up the shoestrings tight or loosen them up to be comfortable. With a low volume foot some shoes, even with the strings tightened up as much as possible, will have too much volume and when they buckle from the shoe bending they cause alot of pain to the wearer. Nike is higher volume than Adidas I remember from soccer cleats as a kid. The Diadoras I tried were somewhat narrow but fully tightened the top hovered a half inch above my foot and really sucked when I tried to walk.
Thanks for the input!!! It seems alot of people on here like the Adidas line so I'll check them out especially the older models that you mentioned.
