I’m on the hunt for a new racquet and need some help. A guy at the TW tent at Indian Wells suggested I reach out. I’ve been playing with a Head Flexpoint Radical Pro (unmodified) and I rotate my 3 racquets regularly since I break my stings frequently. It’s hard to make a comparison to newer racquets so my thinking was to demo racquets and to see which one I like best so that I can narrow down my preference. I did not like the below racquets at all…they felt much heavier and I was uncomfortably late when returning deep shots.
Can you recommend racquets that might be more similar to what I currently have? A friend at doubles practice had a Wilson Pro Staff 97 LS, which felt closer to what I am used to in size and swing weight. I’m somewhere between 4.0 and 4.5, play both doubles and singles, am very comfortable at net and can hit heavy topspin and high kick serves.
