Need Recommendation on Light Racquet 10-10.5 oz range

I'm a 4.5 player with a game similar to Radwanska at 4.5 level of course. Currently using Yonex Ai 100 Lite (10.3 oz strung) but looking for more pop/heavier shots. Recently tried Head Graphene XT S, liked the power but found it not as maneuverable as my Yonex and late on shots.

Any thoughts on:
PureDrive 2015 lite
Wilson Juice 100 L

thanks for input!

Consider the PrinceRedOS, around 110, ports making it feel softer than 70, 1/4" overlength, 10,7 oz, and very playable.

Boy, that's light. Are you a junior? Senior? If not, consider strengthening exercises before you buy one of them flyswatters.

I'm a senior, until 3 years ago played with 12.4 oz rackets with 344 SW's.
3 years ago, tried a DunlopAero500, 10.5 oz and 310 SW with the thick strings I use...LuxBigBangerOriginal16, weighted it up to 325SW and 11.5 oz by leather grip, 34" of 1/2" lead tape.
The Prince03Red, due to it's extra length and 110 sizing, plays about the same as any 325SW, 11.5 oz racket.

The Yonex AI 100 Lite is a very nice racquet and most likely better than the other 2 racquets you listed. Perhaps you can add a little weight to the AI 100 Lite. Even adding head tape would make a difference on a racquet that light. Perhaps a leather grip would be good as well although it will increase the grip size (stock synthetic grips on Yonex racquets are super thin).

Other good choices are the Volkl Organix 6 Super G or the Organix V1 MP.

I think the question about being a junior or senior is actually directed at the OP and you have gone off topic talking about what you have and like as opposed to considering what the OP is looking for.

The O3 Red is a good racquet but if the OP is looking for something more manoeuvrable than the Head Speed XT S with its swing weight of 317 then I suspect a 325 swingweight is not going to help.

I think the Bab Pure Drive Lite sounds a good fit and the TW description seems to fit the bill.

Not sure if it's light enough, but I've been very intrigued with the lighter version of the Volkl Organix 10 Super G. Seems like it's really maneuverable being light, but has enough stability and plow through for the baseline game.

Also, I think Tecnifibre makes some of the lighter rackets available.

Since you see yourself as Radwanska-esque, the Pure Drive would seem a good candidate.

I have to wonder if your experience with the XT S wasn't due in good part by its relatively high swing weight rather than its static weight.
That said, there is normally an adaptation period when moving to a heavier racquet, and it can be several months. If you're using an appropriate string set up and want more pop and plow through, you may just have to bight the bullet for a while.

Try perhaps -

Pure Control - plays light with super power and control for its weight.
Pro Staff 97 LS - a pro level racquet in a lighter package. No weak points. Great feel, spin, power combination

As usual, Robbo missed the mark....
I mentioned the Aero500 for reference. Meaning, I have played recently with 10.3 oz rackets.
The Prince 03Red is 10.7 oz and 317 SW, is that close enough for inspection?

i'm 35yo 5'5 120 lb small frame adult. I used to play with Head Instinct Mp 11.1oz range but found lighter frames better for my body and game.

I'm 5'4", 110lb and for me, the Head Radical Rev and Volkl Super G 8 (300g) are perfect for me. At net, the Rev seems less maneuverable since it's very HH -- killer great from the baseline though. The Super G 8 is more balanced of my two sticks.

The Babolat Z-lite was the best light racket I ever hit with, and used for a couple of years. I now hit with the total opposite of the spectrum of this frame(super head light 12.3 oz wilson 95s(modified greatly)), but it hit like a much heavier racket, much heavier ball than its 10 or 10.5 strung ounce frame suggested(because of the HH balance). I ended up selling all 3 to women I taught and they loved them. All the stability and power you need, and I initially liked it because of how fast i could swing it.

No I didn't miss the point, all of your posts more or less just repeat what you use, not about the OP. You said you used weighted up versions of lighter racquets and one that plays like a racquet with a 325 SW. That's not what the OP is after advice on.

If you had told the OP how the 500 plays in stock form, that would have helped and the OP said the 317 SW wasn't manouevrable enough, so again, not a helpful option.

The OP is after a lighter swinging racquet and mentioned two options that are being considered. If you can tell them how the 500 plays in stock form, that could be another to be considered.

+1 fro the Prince options. They provide good pop without the stiffness that can lead to other issues. You can choose the headsize and weight you want - they have a good range there. The Pink LS105 may be worth a look. My other half hits with one and gets very good power from it. Hope that helps.

Sorry - mis-read your post. As a 4.5 you probably would be better with the smaller head options. Apologies.

Perhaps consider the Dunlop S6.0 or M5.0. Both seem to be in that sort of category you are looking for and have the lower swingweights. I've never tried them, but both will fit into a similar category as the Bab Pure Drive Lite.

Played one session with the Pure Drive, it's just as quick as the Yonex but the feeling is more harsh than i'm use to. Maybe because demo came strung with RPM blast @ 56lbs and i use Pro Line 2 @ 52lbs. Hard to compare power/plow through with the strings set up.

Held the Wilson Juice L in hand and didn't like the thick beams and feeling of racquet but i could see it having more power than mine.

Will give Volk a try because i used to love their Volk cyclone strings for 2 years.

If i do tape my racquet I wonder if should add tape to both 9 o'clock and the handle or just the head. I do like my racquet slightly head light.
