Need strings that feels like Head Lynx Tour

I love Head Lynx Tour, the feel and durability are the qualities that I most value, BUT the Head strings has been sold out in every store in my country for almost 6 months now.
My only options are to (1) Buy the string from other country or (2) Test new strings to replace Lynx Tour

For the option 2 I would like your opinions on which strings are closest to the feel and durability from Lynx Tour, the brands that are most common (in any order) here in Chile are:
- Yonex
- Kirschbaum
- Signum pro
- Solinco
- Luxilon
- Volkl
- Dunlop
- Tecnifibre
- Topspin
- Genesis
- Babolat
- Zons

I really would appreciate if you help me with a few options to begin the testing, thanks!

From my experience MSV Focus Hex and TruPro Black Knight are even better than Lynx Tour and they are cheaper, which will compensate for shipping.

I had read a number of times that Lynx Tour was Head's response to Solinco Hyper G

Whether or not true, it doesn't seem like a bad place to start

I know they're just "lab numbers," but they look pretty close:

PropertyHead Lynx Tour 17 (1.25)Solinco Hyper-G 16L (1.25)Difference %
MaterialPolyesterPolyesterNA
Stiffness (lb/in)2182180
Tension Loss (%)24254
Energy Return (%)9089-1
Spin Potential7.16.1-14
String to String Friction (COF)0.0790.0914
String to Ball Friction (COF)0.5640.55-2

To me, Confidential didn't feel as similar, even though Hyper G just feels like Hyper G and nothing else feels quite the same.

For me (and I've read others, too), Confidential has a nonlinear aging pattern. It would play crisp for the first couple of hours and then "break in" and play notably more powerful for the rest of its life.

Hyper G doesn't feel anything like Head Lynx Tour IMO.

Neither does Kirschbaum Max Power, but that is an amazing string.

Doubt it feels super comparable, but Max Power Rough looks pretty close to Lynx Tour:

PropertyHead Lynx Tour 17 (1.25)Kirschbaum Max Power Rough 17 (1.25)Difference %
MaterialPolyesterPolyesterNA
Stiffness (lb/in)2182232
Tension Loss (%)242713
Energy Return (%)90900
Spin Potential7.15.6-21
String to String Friction (COF)0.0790.08811
String to Ball Friction (COF)0.5640.496-12

At least in the lab...

Do they still make Rough?

Regular Max Power is a lot stiffer.

What about Yellow Jacket or Firewire? Someone can share some feedback
Never tried Firewire, but I have quite a bit experience with Yellow Jacket. It doesn't feel anything like Lynx Tour. Lynx Tour is more firm and crisp and low power. Yellow Jacket is not crisp, but not mushy, can be a bit plasticky, and a bit more power than Lynx Tour. Overall I much prefer Lynx Tour.

Wow - what country do you live in? o_O
Had the same problem with Intellistring in Australia. They eventually tried to charge double the recommended retail for a relatively niche string with a dedicated following. No one much kept buying it because it was too overpriced even for our market & then when it disappeared from sale locally we were prohibited from buying from overseas - killer company, especially considering they don’t even make their own strings.

Wow - but who banned that?
I can get pretty much all legal strings from worldwide shipping.

But you can make it yourself anyway. Head Rip Control and Isospeed Professional Classic in 1.30 are the two strings used.
They are available from us in Austria on 200m reels.
They last a long time.

There is nothing like Lynx Tour. Confidential is an arm killer. BHS7T is the only other stiffer shaped string that I would recommend. But to each their own
