Needing your opinion, Nike Air Vapor IV's or V's?

I need to buy a new pair of shoes, my Adidas Accelerators are already wearing out after a year, but in all fairness, I wore them everywhere not necessarily just for tennis. My next pair I will just use for tennis. Before the Accelerators I had the Nike Breathe Free II's. I have always wanted to try the Vapors so I think I will now buy them. But I was always planning on buying the Vapor IV's, now I notice they have Vapor V's out. Which one do you recommend?

Thanks.

According to the review, the IVs and the Vs seem no different besides cosmetics. I have the IVs, I've had the IIIs, Speeds, and S2. My favorite Vapor are the S2s. I also had the BFIIs, IIIs, and Cages... just ordered a pair of the Cage 2s. I liked the BFIIIs the best so far, but they didn't get high ratings from TW. I hope the Cage 2s are good, too!

But back on track! I think, for your wallet's sake, just get some of the sale Vapor IVs.

I personally have a small grudge against the IVs because they don't have enough cushioning... but they are the shoes that make me feel fast on my feet.

I own the V and like it, but I recommend the IV. It's a bit more comfy and plush. I think the V is stiff. It's supportive, but stiff.

I never played with the S2 but I wish I had.

i like the five, never played with 4, three is alright ( better for slightly wider feet that most nike) and original ones (very narrow)

never tried the IVs but i tried on the Vs at the local shop and it feels excellent. besides, u can get both for about the same price (here at TW) so might as well go with the Vs

"Already wearing out after a year"? You should consider yourself very lucky that any tennis shoes lasted you for a whole year, especially since you also wore them everywhere and not just for tennis. Most people here wear their tennis shoes only for tennis and still wear them out in only a few weeks to a couple of months.

I have the Vapor IV's but have not tried the Vapor V's but personally, I like the BFII's and the Cage II's better just because they both have more cushioning. The Vapor IV's, however, are the best looking tennis shoes ever made, IMO.

Thanks guys.

Can someone tell me how the Vapor IV's and V's fit compared to the Nike Air Max Breathe Free II's? Because if they are pretty much the same I will just get the same size that my Breathe Free II's are in.

EDIT: Also, I noticed the Vapor IV's are like .1 ounce heavier than my Accelerators but the Vapor V's are like 10 ounces lighter. Would the Vapor IV's really feel that different in lightness compared to my Accelerators if they are pretty much the same weight?

This is a hard decision! I can't decide.

The size for BFII's and vapor 4-5 is the same for me. You definitely won't feel a one ounce difference. I dont really notice the weight difference between the 4 and 5. I like the 5 better than the 4, but they are both good

hi guys, i've got a question about sizing of the vapor 4 and 5. last year i bought a pair of vapor 4 in us 12 because my other nike running trainers fit perfectly at us 12. despite this, my foot size is a us 11, it just seemed my trainers were a weird fitting. when i got the vapor 4's they were too big, im not sure whether they're a half size or a full size too big. my main question is, if you bought these shoes did you buy them true to your size (ie youre an 11 and bought an 11), or did you buy a half size or a full size bigger (ie youre an 11 but bought an 11.5 or a 12)? thanks for your help

recommend 5~!

4's copula is separable.
It is seen Used with that and its soft makes the short-lived shoe.
4 is for more comfort, but 5 is for a well-balanced comfort and stability.
