Update: new Court FF2 Novak version will finally be released this year. You can find the pics on ig, but I'll post them here as well later.

One of japanese retailers is already taking pre-orders on them, so I assume they'll end up being sold, even if it's in limited quantities.

The photos of those were available in march, back when Novak was still testing the model (even wore them for practice in Monte Carlo), but he stuck with FF2 for now and seeing how Asics is planning to release very similar colour for FF2 I don't see those being sold to the public (though they did so with Tokyo CW, but it was for different models, not for an update in the same line).

Does anyone know if this pine green color which is now on GR8 and SS2 will be also available on FF2?

Where is the new FF3, Novak Djokovic NY US open 2022 version ?
did asics ever claim that they were going to release it? if not, then i dont see why thats anything to laugh about.

i just picked up a novak in cranberry, and its awesome. why bring out a new model, when the current model is really good?

youre like the kind of person that will buy the latest version of a racket, even though the improvements are detrimental to a previously great design.

but i also will confess to making that err many times before.

If they can make current model available in various sizes then it would be fine to stay with FF2. But it was hard to find any in 1 year time. Now at least this white blue is available in Europe, but it is only 1 color.

Beautiful shoes.

I had an Gel Resolution 8 Clay (fantastic in my opinion) and after wear it out I tried Court FF2 in stores to buy it. Couldn't find one and went with Solution Speed FF 2 (good but I prefer the Gel Resolution 8).

I might give Court FF 3 a shot when available.

New to this shoe. The reviews are true: runs half size large, unlike other asics models. Pick half size smaller for better fit.

I also found that I could not use my usual superfeet orange insoles as the shoe runs shallow. Must use the supplied insoles or similarly thin insoles, otherwise the heel sits too high and immediately blisters the heels.

These look like great shoes. I was really close to getting a pair.

But my regular Speed Solution FF2's have been so good I decided not to mess around with this fancier version.

My regular FF2's fit about perfect.

If I knew these were going to fit the same, I would jump on them.

Unless the White and Black version of these become available again, I'm sticking with the regular FF2's.

I’d say they are 0.25 larger. Or even true to size. I got them in 11 (just like most of my shoes) and they fit well

I bought TTS and it fits perfect, although I do use Thorlo Max Cushion tennis socks. I haven't tried it with regular socks like Nike Dri-Fit.

Just got the Tuna blue colors for both the FF2 and the Gel Resolution 8. Both half sized down fit. Gel resolution 8 has an annoying feel of the plastic creasing over foot at multiple locations. Does this go away? The FF2 only has this sensation slightly at one point so I can live with it.

I have heard these are a good alternative to former Nike Zoom Vapor wear-ers (feel like Nike has been going in the wrong direction lately); are they a good version to convert some historic Nike peeps? And I mean the FF2 line in general. Thanks -

I'd say yes.
I recently switched to the Solution Speed FF2, these are not the Novak shoe.
They feel high quality and are comfortable.
They are cushioned but firm, meaning they feel supportive.
The outsole is more contoured and feels a bit different than the mostly flat Nike outsoles. It can feel a little strange at first because you rock more easily onto your toes but a quick adjustment.
The SS FF2 are narrower, so if you have even a slightly wide foot they may not be the most comfortable.
But they feel very light and nimble around the court.
Previously used the Vapor X, tried the Vapor Pro for a bit but the toebox feels wider and the lacing system is terrible.

Ok, thanks this is good feedback. I still have a few existing pairs of older/better nikes in pristine shape; but guessing I'll make the shift at some point. Unfortunately, I do have a wide foot, and I've heard the feedback on the narrow shape.

Unfortunately the uppers caused me to pass on both. The gel res upper.... worst I've ever experienced. So much material popping and bending. Kinda painful, very unpleasant.

FF2 was much better. Very good fit, but the shoe just felt too much like something I'd have to reserve for serious matches. Felt like I was wearing some armor/protection but a little too much for me. Felt very secure.

The Speed FF2s (more narrow, light, speedy) are way more like the Vapors than Court FF2s (wider, heavier, more supportive).

Yeah the Gel Rest 8 plastic popping goes away and it shouldn't take too long.

Hi, I currently use the Asics Gel Resolution 8, and I was thinking about buying the Asics FF2. In your opinion, which are better between FF2 and Diadora Finale? Or perhaps you could suggest something else?

I play on court fields only. Thanks in advance!

I haven't tried the finale but I have the ff2 and the blueshield 5 and I prefer the later.
