Is the consensus to size down 0.5?
I wear Nikes in an 11.5. Should I go 11.5 for these too?
I'd like to try these shoes but it doesn't seem like they're in stock anywhere.
Yea, rarely last more than a week. I kept checking every other day here, Amazon or Asics.com.Ditto. Do they come in and get snatched up quickly? Or are they not coming in?
when are these coming out? I can't find much info on themNew CW:
Apparently it "celebrates the city of Tokyo", so it could have been the olympics shoe.
USO 2019 version had dark blue outsoles for clay as well. I just got the new blue cw sample (not 100% sure of they will end up as Novak's shoe but it's likely) and they'll probably be available with clay outsoles as well around USO.In clay also please .. with the Dark Blue soles. FF2 DJ version.. I snagged one pair and three pair of GR7 Illusion Blue/Silver clay last year right before COVID hit.
It's for Olympics, so I would say around 1-2 months, maybe a bit earlier.when are these coming out? I can't find much info on them
I'm a huge Vapor 9/9.5 fan as well. My collection is growing and my wallet is shrinking:Huge Nike Vapor 9/9.5 fan. Been going through other models lately, trying to find one I like as much. For me, FF2 > Gel Res 8 for fit, as n80 described.
Recently got the SS FF2 and think I found my next core/goto shoe. I was concerned that it would be too light and not stable enough, but find it's just as good as the old Vapors, even lighter, and has better forefoot cushioning. Compared to the Court FF2, it's lighter and more responsive, but feels just as cushioned to me. And like the Court FF2, I don't get any heel lift, something I still experience with the Gel Res 8.
For me, SS FF2 > Court FF2 > Gel Res 8, but I can see that order varying quite a bit depending on your needs. I think the Gel Res 8 forefoot cushioning is the best of the 3, but the other 2 are excellent and still better than other shoes out there.
You think youll ever wear them? I was collecting too but then I realized if I enjoy playing in them I need to just do it. skinned 2 pairs of the volt/pink soled 9.5s... Yes definitely, I realized I have more fun if I go out on the court dressed in my Federer-esque outfit, and I can pretend for a couple hours that I'm living vicariously as my idol lmao. You think youll ever wear them? They are coming in Summer (heard June) in Hong Kong. Imagine everywhere would be the same.when are these coming out? I can't find much info on them
Ok, I have to get a pair of those.
What ?!?! When is this colorway coming out ? Take my money.
very good looking shoes
Been using the FF2 for a couple months now. It is a great shoe and no, it is not in any way "clunky". However, as someone that had 3 pairs of the original Court FF shoes, I can say I really did prefer those to the FF2. While the FF2 provides greater ankle stability, it's upper doesn't breathe as well and its rigidity is actually causing corns on a couple of my toes. Now, while my foot anatomy is a contributor to the corn formation, this was never an issue with the FF, which had more room in the toe area plus expanded more due to the fabric rather than hard/plasticky upper.
That all said, I have 2 pairs of FF2 and will use them until they aren't useable. But, I will look forward to the FF3 and hope it returns to a more breathable and flexible upper.
100%. If they made that shoe I would stock up for the next 5 years. FF1 was the best performance shoe I ever wore, just not the most durable. The FF2s upper was a deal breaker for me. I used them for a few weeks and sold them. I have since gone over to Nike but can't wait to get back to Asics.Yup. FF2 plastic uppers killed the comfort and they also reduced the cushioning in the sock liner and soles. They need to bring back the FF1 and keep the more durable FF2 soles - that would be the GOAT shoe for me. I hope Asics is listening.

The foam I found to be pretty soft, and I feel the heel lockdown and heel comfort is better than the gel res 8.Yup. I have two pairs of cage 4s which I don't really like but are very durable(very hard to slide in). I should sell my one new pair but I have been lazy. I also have the gp turbos which are good but they are wearing out fast. Both are slightly heavy. I found the ff1 to feel light but the ff2s were on the heavy side.I was going to say the exact same thing, LOL. I'd buy at least 7 pairs before they 'new and improve' it, which is often code for 'cheaper to manufacture' and not nearly as good as the original breakthrough. I'm also finding that sock liner type shoes make a huge difference in comfort as traditional tongue designed shoes add pressure points and creases which diminish comfort in the uppers.
Which Nike shoe are you wearing?

I have the gp turbos. They are really good but are wearing too fast. If they had a durability warranty I would make them my main shoe. They can feel a little heavy, but I move great in them and have no pain.I'd give the GP Turbos a try, but reviews say it has a small, tight toebox which sounds painful. I'll probably just stick with the FF2's.

@TW Staff I heard elsewhere that the Mako Blue/White colorway was discontinued, yet every now and again I see it sprinkle into stock at places (and quickly sold out).
Can you confirm if style 1041A083.102 has really been discontinued?
It doesn't appear we are expecting any further shipments of this color.
Novak? Purple? Not Red, green, or blue?..... alright who died and who got promoted to shoe design in Asics?
Indoor season colors?
@TW Staff and @TWE Staff any idea when the new colorways (the white one is starting to appear on TWE) are going to be available ? Specially the blue ones ?
One of ND's shirts will be mostly salmon pink with red and purple, so the shoes are matching with it. Another shirt is blue and green, but looks like shoes will be full blue (though they seem more purple than previous versions in person).Novak? Purple? Thank you very much! For Europe too ?
Sorry that was for the US. I do not know when those will be available in Europe.
Thanks,
