The new ATP tournament on grass will be held at the Santa Ponsa tennis club (80 km/50 miles away from Manacor, Rafa's hometown) from June 20 to 27, 2020. The club has hosted the WTA Mallorca Open, Spain’s first grass court tournament on grass, since 2016.
Rafa has practiced on the courts of the club ahead of Wimbledon every year since 2017. (There were no grass courts in Mallorca before 2016.)
Toni Nadal, who has been the WTA tournament director, will also be the ATP tournament director.
