Wow I guess the mobile version doesn't work yet.

It is slick indeed. Will have to get used to it though

Old one was way better IMO. I hate this new style that many websites are going to, reminds me of the roland garros website for 2015 which was horrible.

I like the streamline look of it, but I think they need to change the pure white background to something a little more easy on the eyes. Perhaps a dark blue.

old people and their disdain of white webpages

8 of the top 10 most visited web sites have a predominantly white background.

There has been a huge side effect to this re-design.

we can no longer, as of now, look up head to head stats :(

this is the worst day ever for us Nadal fans

This!

Why do so many websites have to re-design when they are often worse than the previous version? The latter was so easy to navigate around. The new version doesn't even give you as much information, eg. when looking up head to heads the latest version omits the surface details. Is that supposed to be progress??

I'm a great believer in 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it!'

You still can. Just click on the spyglass to the side of each player and you can type in a different name. But it no longer includes the surface details like it used to!

oh thank the clay gods. not only can rafa still have a 23-10 lead, but Federphants can no longer bring up the surface excuse.

I think this is completely untrue. Only the old website you saw only three scores without visiting the scores page. EVERY OTHER professional sports website lists all scores on the main page, and now so does the ATP. They have also made the daily schedule and draw at each tournament much more readily available.

Looking up H2H is so much easier, just punch it into your browser and much more detailed h2h pages than the ATP provides can be found with one click

why did they fix black and white TVs to show color? those TVs weren't broken.

My 56k dial up modem wasn't broken.

Well, I daresay you're right and I just have to get used to the new navigation protocols. I just find it frustrating when I can't find things as quickly and easily straightaway!

None of us are against progress so long as we can see what the progress is!

In my case, I guess I get impatient when I can't see it right away!

If you have to unfairly dismiss every top player for those 3 select years as "weak" then clearly you have nothing covered.
perhaps it isn't the strongest argument,

but doesn't matter, H2H is what matters most. That's why Rafa is equal to Laver and greater than Federer.

Put me in the 'like'-category. :)

As for it not working on mobile phones, I don't care about that but hope it will get fixed soon for those who do.

I use the player breakdown of ranking points, frequently. I'm not keen on the wide spacing which means a lot of scrolling to see the whole page. In fact a lot of the site seems to need a lot of scrolling. I preferred having all the information, or nearly all of it, in view at the same time. I suppose I'll get used to it.

Yes, and the white background is also boring, makes the site look dull and generic. Very much preferred the old design but if they change the background the new site might be bearable.

It is awful. Just tried going through the rankings from earlier in the year, they don't exist. Just nothing is there. Tried looking for Matt Ebdens ATP page, it doesn't exist. and a lot of the old articles that you can find on google such as this one posted during mid may which should be about the challenger circuit, instead the content is on Murray/Peers winning the Brisbane international?????
I'm not a fan of big change, and if you're going to do it, at least get it right..

Geez, I can't believe some of you like this new site. As someone said before, everything is spread out more so you have to scroll a lot to get the info. On top of that the info just appears kind of randomly with no rhyme or reason for placement.

On the old site you just click on the page and everything was there with no scrolling. Scores (some of the important ones at least), news, all of the tournament schedule at the very top with dates, and great easy to read fonts on a nice background.

The new site is just a disaster, hard to read fonts, crappy colours and so many more clicks to get to what you want for example, draws. And most importantly, SO MUCH SLOWER because of all of the unnecessary graphics.

Horrible!

This is apparently the modern way for websites to be arranged. Everything is starting to turn into some kind of flashy social-media-looking format, even CNN...

And I agree, it's awful. Things are scattered all over the place, built into separate modules that take more energy to load, and there are more automatically-scrolling/playing boxes to slow things down.

It's really lame that the surfaces on h2h stats aren't listed...

Haha. I feel you, I usually hate new websites, including the new ESPN site (which isn't that new anymore) and this board temporarily changing. I was surprised to find myself enjoying new ATP

Mixed emotions: it's faster on the 1GB netbook I use the majority of the time. But I'm with everyone who thinks it's way too spread out and aggravating to navigate.
