Sounds like u want the prostaff 6.6 made for connors haha. That's more similar to the control. But the aerostorm will be sweet, I know im snatching up a few.

Yeah I definitely like the naming sistem more as it is now... Pure control - pure strike - pure drive - pure aero... No confusion at all.

In the future with this new pure aero vs and the pure strike CTRL I think there will be more confusion.


By the way I really hope there will be a "regular" pure aero vs paintjob without the American flag in it... Here in Europe not many people are going to buy that paintjob in my opinion.

I have a feeling that these were just pics of the new pj sent to jack by bab to post. I've never seen any of his sticks without a tourna grip and I'm fairly certain he uses leather. That's also strung with what I assume is rpm blast and Jack uses a full bed of alu power. His are probably still being painted and he'll pick them up when he heads over for the euro clay.

Yeah I don't think you will have to worry about that............really doubtful they would try to sell it outside the states........save for the very few expats who might want one.......I don't see my local intersport or decathlon store carrying them at all.

Daniel from Babolat here (guest post, yes I still read the threads daily).

We had a photo shoot with Jack in Tampa on Sunday and I only brought the Pure Aero Stars/Stripes frames. Jack will be using the Pure Aero VS (details coming end of this week, will be available to consumers this summer) but he left them in KC as our shoot didn't have any hitting. Kill the rumor: Jack is not switching to the standard Pure Aero. We wanted Jack to be able to share the Stars/Stripes line before dealers started posting them on the web/blogs/social media.

For what it is worth, Jack took the picture on his phone and wrote his own tweet/message.

Jack likes emojis.

P.S. Jack is currently taking a 300 gram unstrung frame and customizing to 309-320 grams unstrung (with **** he is experimenting with different weights and balances this week in practice). He currently prefers a swing weight of 313. Stay tuned...

No argument........never said it was. Sock as far as I know never used the aero pro/pure aero in any form..........and he's still using the old aerostrom in a new PJ
