Babolat PD 107, available until now only in cortex, will be available in GT model as of next Tuesday....along with a new Lite PD
I have demo'd the PD 100 sq in GT and the cortex PD 107 (strung at 60 lbs w/ tnt2 17) & I was FINALLy about ready to declare that the 107 size "trumped" the 100 sq in size for me...I'm not sure whether the local rettail stores here in COnnecticut will even bother to order these new racquets for this season. I liked the cortx 107 but I see that the newGT version is slightly less strung weight, is 16x19, not 16x20 as is the cortx , and has lower swingwt according to TW
my question is:
will an intermediate wkend warrior such as I find any diff between a cortex 107 and the GT technologies, or what diff have those who have played with the 100 sq in size noticed?
The 107 demo cortex was strung at 60 (more control) with synthetic gut tnt2 17.....I din't understand how so many players string PDs with stiff poly strings, but I don't think my arm could survive it
