New Balance CT 1004 Width Question

I currently wear the KSwiss Defier because it has a wider D fit than other shoes, but am having trouble with forefoot cushioning (first I've had this issue with the Defier, as I'm on my third pair) - I am considering going to this New Balance shoe, but am wondering if the D width is wide enough (i.e. past NB D widths seem like 2E in other shoe brands), of if I need to go with the 2E width?

I appreciate any feedback.

Be sure you buy a half pair smaller. These shoes break in and stretch.I have very wide feet, you can see the D width is still not wide enough.Good buy for sure,Great comfort support durability.Play's like a Asics with way better durability.I'dd say make sure there real snug at the store, man they break in big time. now I'm up to two pairs of socks on top of ankle braces. The lockdown liner inside is safe but I should have grabbed half size smaller.
