New Balance Fresh Foam X CT-Rally

I am visiting the US and have both versions arriving Thurs, will report back! I currently use the D width as they are all that's available in the UK - love them but occasionally get some pain in the mid foot
Also just went to the US and came back with these in a 2E, but a wear to the gym makes me think these aren’t quite for me. If any Euro wide-footers would be interested in a 43.5 wide (although to me these fit like a 44 length wise) feel free to PM me.

While Lav V1 has one of the best cushioning I ever have in a pair of tennis shoes, V2's cushioning is around half (or even less than that) of that. Further, the shoes feel stiff as hell which I do not know why. I am not a shoe expert like you though.
Agree - the out-of-box comfort was not there and I never get the Lav 2 a shot. The CT Rallys are slightly less stiff out of box. And like the TW play testers state, the shoes' cushioning softens a lot as you break them in.

Same! Was strange, I bought 2e and D, and the insoles literally overlaid perfectly. The toebox in the 2e just didn't feel right, almost baggy and didn't have the lockdown I needed from a high performance shoe.

I'm still wanting to get these, some really nice colorways out recently.
Really like that white/green.

Someone wanting two new pairs of Vapor 9.5 Tours in size 11 needs to contact me and buy them.

They look great on foot:

The NB shoesies with Puma socks and adidas clothing - what a rare sight. Even Felix Mirschker has sponsors, yet this man doesn't? Unbelievable.

I do say that having an unsponsored player use your products is probably a greater endorsement that q sponsored player doing the same, since it shows that it was chosen out of CHOICE as opposed to out of OBLIGATION.

I wish NB UK would re-stock the CT Rallys. Only one colour and pretty much sold out of all sizes for months now...

Wore my first pair of these last night for some doubles and loved em! As some have mentioned, started pretty firm but definitely softened up by end of the session. Lots of heel cushion which my feet were happy about. Loving them so far esp with the 2E size I got.

I really like the fit and support of these for my super wide, high-arched feet. The 12-2E is the best fit I've found in a tennis shoe.

They are stable and surprisingly fast thanks to the moderate heel drop and low-to-the-ground feel in the forefoot. Compared to my Gel 9s, not quite as comfy in the forefoot, locked-down, or quick, but definitely more stable.

A PowerStep bridge insole helped the cushioning up front and overall foot support. I've been wearing Gel Res 2-E for years because of their combo of durability and support despite them being too narrow and shallow for my feet.

Fit and stability so good on these CT Rallys that I bought a second pair (Green and White colorway) at retail.

I've put about 4 hours on them and the uppers are still breaking in, but I can feel them getting better and better.

How are these on clay or Hard Tru ?
I have my current clay court (986) don’t seem to make a difference compared to other All court shoes.
