It's quite clever, because unless you're looking for an 'N' it could just be part of the colour-scheme.Love the logo. Much better than a giant swoosh on the toe, that's for sure. I'm getting a pair.

Looks like a winner. The original LAV's are one of the most stable shoes I've worn.
Is it just me or is that just the same shoe with different logo placement?Looks like the 996 will get a couple quick updates as well:. They are calling it the v4.5

The major thing I see besides the logo is the pattern of the knit. That really can have an effect on the shoe. We will have to see if it didThere really aren't any technical updates to the 996v4.5. There's some visual changes to the logo, etc and NB notes the usage of Dope dying for the upper as part of sustainability practices. Otherwise, same shoe.

The absence of a strong medial flange is gonna cause problems for people with plantar fasciitis history.
Trust me.I used custom orthotics with similar shoes and flared up my pfGet a proper insole and shouldn’t be a problem.
I’m really liking the orange colour way.
What is this?booty
What is this?
Ok switched back to the Lav's from the 996, and I have to say these Lav 2's are my favorite shoes ever !! The outsole is much better that the Lav 1's and the non-booty tongue is a lot easier to fit into if you're wearing a brace, great shoe !
were the uppers of the LAV stretchier or stiffer than the sfx? how was the toebox width compared to the SFX in the same size (assuming you did not get 2E in LAVs)Lav 2 is the third most comfortable shoe on the market IMO behind the Babolat SFX 3s
These are impossible to find in 2E now were the uppers of the LAV stretchier or stiffer than the sfx? how was the toebox width compared to the SFX in the same size (assuming you did not get 2E in LAVs)
Thank you
when I was testing it
Can you compare the toebox width AND overall length to any of these (of the same size)?back to the Lav's
Only tried the Asics (in wide) and found the fit to be similar in the toebox, but I preferred the Lav2 overall (EE)Can you compare the toebox width AND overall length to any of these (of the same size)?
SoleCourt Boost

BluShield 5
BluShield Fly 3

Vapor X
GP Turbo
UltraShot 2
Eclipsion 2

Thanks a lot
What about lengthwise though? Did you get them in the same size?Only tried the Asics (in wide) and found the fit to be similar in the toebox, but I preferred the Lav2 overall (EE)
Yes, same size, didn't notice any difference. Some other NB models have run short in the past, not an issue with the LAV2.What about lengthwise though? Did you get them in the same size?
Thank you. Going to snipe them when they become available again.Yes, same size, didn't notice any difference. Some other NB models have run short in the past, not an issue with the LAV2.
