The Lavs are stiffer, bulkier, and firmer than the Gel Res. They also sit higher off the ground as well.

Very defined bevels, but don't forget he can get whatever handle he wants put on there.

I don't think there's a clay court version but I played on har-tru with it when it was new and the tread wasn't bad. I think it's better than other all-court options.

Those orange ones are pretty cool. Some of their others are terrible though and not thought put in any way (like the ones in post 157). Also can't stand the egg yolk ones (172)

I have no idea unfortunately. I would assume mid-2023 based on lead times of other tests and their eventual release date

I highly recommend the Lav v2. They are expensive. I got them slightly used for about half price on the Bay.

Just looked. Found wides in my size for $112.49. Not too bad. Might have to give them a try.

If you mean the thickness of the factory insole, I would say the Lav v2's insole is thicker than other factory insoles so yes, there is a significant drop. I'm guessing you're wondering if there is sufficient room for your custom insole and especially the height of the heel.

Yes. Hopefully there’s still a good amount of cushion and bounce when inserting my orthotic.

I hope the heel of the insole is still internal to the shoe after inserting it into the shoe.

I personally had to put duck tape on my inside left foot as I tend to drag that on a hard court slides. Overall though, the added rubber/plastic on the toe and side of shoe helps with the wear and tear. Not as good as a FF2/3, but much better than Nike Vapor 11.

Found this "new" color way coming to us for Wimbledon. They are changing the logos and no longer calling it the Lav 2, its just now called the all court LAV. Personally I can dig it as it goes along with their latest casual shoe logo changes as well!
