New Balance Return Policy

Thinking of buying a pair of the 996v4s and noticed they have a 6-month-outsole-warranty. Does anyone have experience with dealing with New Balance and their warranties? Also, what is their leniency on the policy i.e. does a hole in the toe invoke the warranty?

I just ordered a pair of v4's yesterday after wearing the v3's for a time previously (switched to Sole Court Boosts for a while). I did warranty return a pair of v3's, NB was easy to deal with. The uppers held up pretty well, my issue was the sole wearing through so not much help unfortunately. They didn't last any less than comparable shoes, I was playing on grainy hard courts most of the time.

I had some LAV that were warranteed. I know you have to wear through the outsole in order qualify. I found a pair of 996 at the NB store on clearance for $50. I have been using them on hard courts for two months and just started wearing through the outsole. I'll warranty them and get a voucher for the value of a pair of 996 assuming they haven't changed the return rules. The process was simple last time.

Sadly no, I am rough on soles so typically purchase shoes with outsole warranties.
