New balance tennis shoe compared to Nike and assics

Hi all,

I have been playing for a long time and for the past 15 years, for tennis shoes, I mainly had,
- Nike air zoom vapor line, the one that Federer wears 70% (I once tried the one that Nadal wears but returned it promptly as it was not comparable to the Vapor)
- Asics resolution line, the one the Djokovic wears 30%

Never had other brands such as Prince, New balance, Adidas, etc.

Nike was always the best and most comfortable. Asics was ok too but slightly less than Nike.
Do you know of other brands that closely match the two above shoes? I am looking for something very close with a cheaper price.

Thanks very much in advance.

Buy Nikes on sale is a play. On-line retailers always have sales when new models come out. I've only worn Nikes but am about to take the plunge on the New Balance Lav 2. In terms of price, it's on par with the big Swoosh.
