So it looks like the 2012 Blx Tour and Surge are out

Just wondering if anybody has gotten any early reviews on the new tour. Actually I have been looking at the 2010 Tours and really have been thinking about one, If anyone can help me out, Is there any difference between the two frames other than the new pj performance wise.

  2. The BLX Tour has a VERY similar paint job to the BLX Tour Lite -

I like the look of it a lot, it's pretty sweet, although it's basically the same as the previous version but white in place of blue.

The Surge looks ok, but I preferred when it was Green as Wilson have a tonne of Red paint jobs.

ALSO, all the pros that used the BLX Tour now sport the BLX Juice paint job, so what's the deal with that? I don't know what will happen to this racket.. will anyone endorse it?
  3. I really don't understand why the paint job for the new BLX Tour isn't the same style as the new BLX 6.1 95's but in the orange/white cosmetics. The paint job is exactly the same style as the older bunch of BLX's, where as none of the new BLX's still have that style of half one colour on each side of the frame. Interesting choice by Wilson.

i was able to get the new tour 95 a couple of days ago - it's the same as the old blue/orange-reddish model and plays the same...just different paintjob - actually kei nishikori used this before with the paintjob of white and orange before they switched his paintjob to the steam pro available only in japan right now - it's funny how they also have a steam 95 available in japan which has the same specs as this blx tour 95 - anyways i'm getting use to this new paintjob just like i did with the old but more people at my club seem to like this white/orange color so much better - i do love this racket though.

funny this racket was such a big hit with female pros mostly - it was great to see at least nishikori used it for a while - i agree...very good racket for any player.

Isn't that Tour pretty much the "limited edition" model they had in Japan?
