I have been watching the discussions here for so long and finally decided to join the forum!

I ordered a PT57A 16x19 in the Prestige 2023 paint. On the hairpin code of the racket it says PT57A2.2. I know PT57A2 is the mold with A2 layup but what is the “.2” referring here?

Hope the experts would know. @dr325i @vsbabolat

@dr325i @vsbabolat
String pattern. PT57A2.2 = PT57A2 in 16x19 string pattern.

I’m also wondering who are the top players still using PT57A. For Roland Garros 4th round I see only Cerundolo, who almost defeated Djokovic in 5 sets

(Genuine question) why the simplified Chinese characters on the Austrian made pro stock racquets?
Those characters mean “(pro) player’s stick”.

If I remember it correctly, PT rackets have their layup made in Austria but painted and perhaps with their specs measured in China, hence the sticker on the hairpin.

Yeah, I understand these characters, hence the word “simplified”.
I thought all the PT/pro stock racquets were/are produced in Austria from start to finish…. Hence the question.

The hairpins are, however they are sent to China for painting, and perhaps even drilling

If you test a PT at the head factory in KB, Austria, the stick will be just blacked out because they don't have a painting studio anymore

Does it mean that those blacked out frames don’t have hairpin stickers on them?
