The French were the better players the first three sets. However they messed up / got unlucky in the 2nd and 3rd TB.
4th set Colombians were better but they lost the TB
By that time, Mahut's reflexes were off and they got broken twice in the 5th even though they did even it once.
Vasselin was crying badly but i think the French missed their chances.

Mahut was shaken after getting hit on his forehead in the 1st set. On top of that, he got hit at least 10 times in different parts of his body. This really did upset him ,

Ahh. I watched the first 4 sets then had to go out and coach on court for the 5th. Last thing I saw was the French breaking back immediately after being broken.

Overall they were a bit unlucky. They did grab the first set after Mahut took the ball to the head, but it was the 2nd or 3rd set breaker that they were super unlucky to lose. One of those fluke moonball mishits miraculously dropped on the baseline for a winner, and the Colombians had a down the line ball clip the tape and stay in for another winner on set point.
Was an entertaining match though. Disappointed for Mahut/ERV, but it was fun to watch.
