No Radical OS anymore?

Interesting. I thought I read last time that the prestige pro would be ten grams lighter, but maybe not now.

Source?

And is the 2014 confirmed? My stringer said they heard they'll be out for Xmas this yr. - which makes sense - sure you get buzz because of the AO by waiting until January, but miss the holiday $$$.

I'm sure I'll like the Prestige Mid. I've been trying the Speed Pro, but keep going back...

That Canadian racket guy on the auction site seems to have the world's remaining stocks of YT Prestiges, the last with the "traditional" black CAPS grommets, and NOS Radicals etc. I think people here will now make a run on his stocks.

Is he the racket industry's equivalent of those cheap bookshops that sell unsold books by the crate-load? (Not that he is cheap - far from it)

meh it's not just canook, oz seems to have a whole lot of microgels being pushed out distributor warehouse too

I can just say that is not really true.. There are virtually no similarity between IG Prestige Pro and the 2014 Prestige Pro other then the stringpattern :)

So the radicals remain light weight kids toys! Oh well, guess I'll start browsing the "bay" for another Radical Twin Tube Zebra MP...aka the last Radical that was a true players stick!

And maybe the Prestige Pro is ten grams lighter, but with greater swingweight.

Apparently the Radical line will also have higher swingweights.

Lead tape. Ever heard of it?

Wow. No more PC600 lineage? This reminds me of when Ford tried to discontinue the Mustang in favor of the Probe.

HRB email me I am about to put my zebras on TT soon but if its to you I know they will find a good home

Yeah, I have, and I've used it, but the point is why would I knowingly purchase something just to have to make it into what I want...I want 12oz plus and headlight...Zebra's and PS 6.1's give me that without a bunch of stupid looking tape all over them!

I mean you could buy a Toyota and add all the features to make it a Lexus...but a hell of a lot smarter to just get the Lexus in the first place.

I agree that the modern Rads and Prestige's are fine if you don't know if you can handle the weight...then they are good platforms to build on. I happened to know the specs that works for me, so no need.

I saw a picture of the new Graphene Radicals. Pretty hideous. Looks kind of like a YouTek with an orange hoop and black throat area but there are some funky/ugly graphics where the colours meet. The actual mould looks completely new and interesting though.

impressions about the new rev pro?

thanks

Amazed how such a light frame could give such a nice feel. It willl be a best-seller on TW because it´s really good in stock form and also extremely good as platform racquet

Spin and power was really good

Was it in black or did it have the definitive paintjob?

does anyone know if this new Prestige Rev Pro Mid is 18x20 or 16x19?

If this is actually a new "true" 93 mid then it will be an absolutely new racket and departure from the Prestige Mid 600.

Prestige 600 has been the longest production modern mold I know of (+30 years).

I will believe it when I see it.

It's really great to know that, because when I saw the new prestige line, that was the one which caught my eyes. 300g with a 93sq seems really great to test.

A report, otherwise accurate, says it's 16x19.

Don't know if this means anything, but TW only has 2 grip sizes left for the IG Prestige Mid.

Nice.

I assume you've got to wait a little while before giving your impressions. But please bump this thread when you're able. Thanks in advance.

Yes, cant give away to much info yet. Have to wait until it´s official, but both the PJ and feel of the new Prestige´s are really good. The 2014 update really is an update in the frames, not just new PJ. You guys will know what i mean when the test-reports start to come out =)

Too bad they don't come out with something like the pt57a with a 16x19 pattern. I'm really curious what that hits like

To tell the truth I'm surprised these threads haven't been deleted.
Head was really angry that the info leaked out.

Anyways, a bump up in swingweight on all models.
The new lightweight Mid is definitely the one to watch.

Hankenstein, can you tell me if my assessment of the prestige rev pro being the old premier tour mold is accurate?
