New Graphene Radicals/Prestiges for 2014

Enough about the cosmetics, some love them, some hate them, some do not care. How about how these things feel, spin, control, comparisons to the Youtek IG, etc. Hey its a bonus to like the cosmetics but I will play with a puke brown racket if it elevates my game. Our local shop was supposed to have the Prestige's and Radicals in last week but now it looks like next week. Some of you have banged them around, let us know what is up...

So you want a picture per day or all at once? If you want them all at once you gotta write "Hail Satan" here. 6 "hail Satan" will be enough.

Does anyone have the weight, SW, and stiffness of the new Radicals and Prestiges?

Which Prestige? I assume by the RA Rating he had the Prestige PRO MP.

Anyone have any info on the MP or the Pro?
I currently play w/ the YT Prestige MP, looking to change sticks already. (took a pass on the YT IG's)

Looking to try out the Pro since I'd like to try the open string pattern again.
And, hope they have more flex esp. on the volleys this time.

Used a wilson prostaff classic 7.0 16x18, before switching to the YT prestige, and I feel that the prestige were a tad stiff at the net vs the prostaff.

Looks like it'll be time to break the bank next year :)

All unstrung data.

Prestige S frame is identical to the Prestige Pro (same beam, mold, drill pattern, CAP), except for the slightly lighter specs.

64RA
309g
325mm
295 SW

Head appears to be moving the balance a decent bit less HL on the S.

My S from last year was 33cm strung and the new one should be around 33.5. Sw should up up as well to 325ish from the old spec at 317.

Monkey-ranch, you little weirdo, emo...don't byte your nails for beeing the black ship of the family

Strange, but God loves you...I think... :-?

There are times when you run a little search on Google and be delighted that you have access to the latest tennis catalogs - in full color, high definition PDF files, before they are released, hiding itself in the web. Today this happened to me, so enjoy the Head 2014 Catalog - although in Polish.

I'm most surprised to see the Prestige Mid missing. Is it replaced by the Rev Pro - which according to other posts have a 'true' 93" headsize? I seriously doubt it. How could they kill such a legendary midsize frame? I currently use the IG Mid itself. If this is really true I will be very disappointed.

Bad news...Rev Pro has no cap grommets.

Would have been interesting with 20mm beam and 93 sq in.

Now there is left the MP with new black grommets.

They wouldn't be killing it if it were a big money maker. It likely is not selling enough to justify having it in the lineup.

Hit with a new 2014 Head Prestige MP (red Cap Grommets) side by side with Head YOUTEK IG Ltd. Edition Prestige MP. They both feel about the same to me. I like the red full cap grommets but still prefer the all black Ltd. Prestige MP :)

Tron 25th paintjob remains uber classy even 18mths on... Modern art classic.

a little off topic but does anyone know anything about limited edition speeds? a friend of mine showed me some that his shop got in and they are speed pro all black paint like the 25th anniversary prestige

It looks nice doesn't it? With the tan leather grip and all. But not at an extra $100 or so as one local Oz retailer is asking.

My work just got them in, they look super nice. Not sure if specs are different however from the regular. I hope to string one up to play and compare with soon.

VS we are eagerly awaiting your review of the new Prestige line. When are you expecting to get your hands on them? Your reviews of the IG were spot on and I look forward to your comparison of between them and the new Graphene Prestige's.

We were expecting them at my local shop last week and they still have not arrived. Looking forward to hitting them especially the new Rev Pro although I am not overly fired up about the lighter weight. Currently I play the Mid and I like the weight of the racket 12.4 oz with and over-wrap and dampener.

you mean these? (http://www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/descpageRCHEADH-GSPROL.html) apparently they are being sold in Europe already.

They look really nice.

Also, may I ask about the new graphene racquets technology wise? Do they carry over the innegra fibers that were so well combined with the youtek/d3o in the Youtek IG series?

P.S. This is my first post, i just joined tt. I read a lot from these forums and thought that perhaps I shall get involved as well. You guys give a lot of insightful, useful information and I like to keep track on them :)

Hey Vs. Are you from Fountain Valley, CA? Saw in another post that you took a pic from what looks to be Tennis Spectrum out in Fountain Valley. I'm looking for a 5.5-6.0 hitting partner. If you're interested, please email me at varagon84@gmail.com

I do plan on hitting with the Rev Pro and the New MP when I get the chance. I dont know when that will be yet.

Hey guys, have you guys noticed that the Prestige Red is no more?
The new look looks like a brighter orange-y red, like if you mixed it with the radical orange. ugh. Dont like it.

I rather have the typical profound deep red that the line normally has had for more than a decade.

Got to play with the new Radical Pro and the MP today. Loved, loved the PRO. When I first picked it up I thought damn this thing is light, thought it was going to be fluff. Damn was I wrong. This thing is crisp, powerful, and lightning quick through the air. Great plow thru. An absolute beast on serve. No adjustment time with this racquet. Its almost like if the Blade 98, the APD, and the Instinct had a baby.
Didn't like the MP at all, felt clunky and slow by comparison, and the balance felt wrong.
Was hoping not to change racquets again but the PRO might be too good to pass up.

I will to agree, in the other hand, that I love the new radical look. Really getting its own 'radical' definition from the 80s and 90s. Makes me think of young Agassi with the long hair a flashy colors. Very proper for he used this racquet line. :)

What was the stiffness like? Is there flex and solidity in the feel of the stick?

Nope,

They are a big distributor in the area, so I decided to call and ask. They were glad to give me the information and I was glad that they did. I recently switch from my IG Radical MP to the Graphene Speed MP because of arm pain and I could not wait for the Radical to be updated. The Graphene Speed took the pain away but I am missing my targets, so I can not wait to get my hands on this one.

thanks for replying. i am tempted to switch too

Has anyone tried the Radical Rev, another post the guy says its awesome, even thu has a balance of 36 unstrung and 37 ish strung, but that is has great plow thru....

Anyone share this?
