Oh, they can do it, but profits for shareholders are most important to the business suits.
I just wonder why it is more like this in tennis than in other sports...
One more for grass court season.
Hope you are right, but is there any evidence that queens and halle is moving to a week later. Haven't heard any.
Ii e-mailed queens club just now, asking about it, I accidently e-mailed Eastbourne thinking it was queens..they are both sponsored by aegon
I read it will be the week after RG.
Gutsy move by Stuttgart. I hope they get a decent field. Boris Becker, coming out of retirement?
after a few days I got a reply from my e-mail to queens club..and it just said any changes to the scheduling of the 2015 queens tourney when Wimbledon moves will be announced on the website ..
its good that they replied..but I was hoping for a bit of clarity on the subject.
great news! Hope they replace one of the HC masters with grass too.
Wimbledon is already being pushed back a week. If only the caly season could be brought forward a week it would be great to see, a week off after RG, 2 grass masters and a week off before wimby.Maybe even possible tohave a week inbetween the grass masters. But at least one should be present. Really they should ditch Shanghai, or ditch IW and make Shangha in an indoor court.
French open 1 week earlier
French open 1 week earlier would open things up nicely and create a proper grass court season
Literally the last thing the tour needs is a Masters/ATP1000 event on grass.
So you're saying they should either ditch a large, prestigious tournament in a burgeoning economy/massive new market for the sport, or get rid of an already established powerhouse event? Yeah, good luck with that.
